I am debating buying the one pack, I have a huuuuge backlog. How is the multiplayer aspect on Borderlands 2? In Borderlands always some asshole took the best loot, and IMHO it wasn't very fun so I played mostly alone. Is splitscreen (local coop) supported with an Xbox joystick?

Yes, the DLCs are far better than the original's DLCs. I especially liked "Torgue's Campaign of Carnage". I would wait for the GOTY edition, or buy the game now, and the season pass next time it goes on sale. You'll still be able to put in a good 60 hours into the game before you run out of things to do and need DLC.

Thanks! I just bought it and was able to activate it on steam. Installing it now. I live in the US, idk if that matters when activating on steam, in case anyone was wondering, but either way it worked for me!
