You sure you have a stable 60 FPS with the same video settings as in gameplay videos ?

It's not always about FPS, how do you think your game is different ? Does it stutter or slower than GP videos ?

Your monitor is poopsicle or your PC can't handle them at a constant 60, or both. This is the reason why most gamers who want to see the FPS difference buy a 120-144hz monitor, the difference is noticeable, but you need the hardware to see those results.

Edit: also please note most youtubers have a 120-144hz monitor but there are limitations on youtube and such, making them run at only 60fps. And because they can keep the video while recording at a constant fps and never drop below 60 means the video will be smoother. They won't upload a video that has 30-60fps variations because it will look really bad. The more fps recorded means a higher file size which is a pain to upload to youtube.

Not only gamers, also there some people who buy the best hardware just to run a game for 5 minutes, showoff, steady (the magic word) 60fps with 1080-1200p is enough for enjoyment and thats my personal opinion :)

I agree, 60 is enough, but after seeing things move smoother it becomes a standard, that's why when I see a game locked at 30fps I instantly notice the lag and it feels wrong. Switching back to 60fps and higher after that is a bliss.

It's because you're not focusing on playing the game, but instead you're watching it. You don't have to do anything while watching, but while you play you have to think about what are you doing, where are you going to etc. and that's why you notice smoothness while watching and not playing.

Also to the op, i noticed that too and i think its because when you playing a game you focus on the center of the screen, but when watching a video you sit back while making your eyes feel comfortable in the correct position.

There are other settings too. I am the minority on this one, but I'd rather have higher video quality at 30 FPS than lower at 60. Particularly textures, loading distance, and AA for me.
