I created a giveaway of the game "Hacker Evolution Duality" and didn't receive any contributor value

It's a bundled game. In order for you to gain more contributor value give away non-bundled games.
Here's the bundled game list.

Yes you did. But it's a latent contributor. I mean the contributor is there but is waiting for the perfect moment to show up. That usually is when you give away non-bundle games.

That's because hacker evolution is a bundle game

I created and completed a giveaway and the winner has marked it as recieved, but my contributor value isn't rising. Is there something wrong?
No, absolutely not. There're three reasons this might be happening. The first is simply solved by waiting. There is a delay of up to twenty minutes before your value changes and it will update shortly. The second is that single entry giveaways do not count towards your contribution value. Because they only got one entry, they are not considered as a raffle, but rather a direct gift. The other is due to having too many bundle games given away. Your contributor value will be locked until you submit further giveaways that are not from bundles and will continue to rise gradually until the full value has been reached. For more information on how values are calculated when bundle games are involved, please check this thread.

if I bought Chains(gift) from steam store and give away on steamgifts.com will I get CV ? (chains is on bundle list Bundle Stars #6 - Catnip )

No. Any game on the bundle list is counted as a "bundle game", regardless of source.

The games with the "*" on them in the giveaway list count as bundle games.

You've ever read the FAQ?

I should write a chrome addon, that hides every thread title that contains "CV" or "30"

You're right, it would be easier to just hide the whole forum

You would miss a few fakes that are hiding private GAs.

Wow, thats a bit of a conundrum aint it? Who knows why it works that way but if it had happened before, surely someone would have brought it up. Perhaps you've discovered a new bug on this site - I suggest stopping all giveaways here till it be fixed.

So maybe I won't be getting CV points either, as I remember Patrician IV Steam Edition possibly had an * when I selected it.
I did read the FAQ and did not saw this about cv not being 'delivered'.. Sucks!

It delivers when you gift non-bundled games.

Actually, you'll still get CV, since it's within the first $25 allowance.

Ok, still pretty new to me. In steam it says 19.99 so I naturally thought it would mean 20 on my CV.
Thank you both for the clarifications and bundle list. Cheers!

Well, it is $19.99 CV. The rule is, that bundle restrictions only kick in at $25. After that, Bundle games are only allowed to be 20% of your CV total. As the first $25 doesn't count as bundle, 20% of that is allowed, meaning the upper limit you can get to, solely from bundles, is $30. But you still only get $19.99 from what you're giving away right now :P
