Because a notorious asset-flipping "developer" who's known for not finishing his projects will make money of them ?

It's kinda in line with bumping into a burglar robbing your neighbor's house, and agreeing to keep quiet in return for a tiny, tiny, tiny cut of their gains from the theft.

The money wasn't properly earned through effort, it was taken through deception. And encouraging that just because they pay you off with their spare change, doesn't make it any more morally valid.

It's not really meant to be [from my perspective, at least] a large scale stand on the topic, just an explanation as to why many individuals don't bother activating games of that nature, even when they're free.

But he does! He kept every level of Journey of the Light past the first one to himself, if his claim that they exist is to be believed! ;)

FYI, might want to put the name of the game in the title next time, so this doesn't seem so tacky and cheesy.

You should also tell people how to remove the game after the cards have dropped.

That does seem to be quite uncommon from what I've seen as well.
Personally, I always sync my CV expectations to ratio expectations (ie, .65 minimum ratio on both).

Thanks LordKres, I am looking forward to buy GTA V with playing your games.

I thought free games didn't drop cards just by adding the game to your account.

Depends on what type of free game it is. F2P do not since the game does not bind to your account. It seems this is a case of free to buy, which does and thus grant cards :D.

And that's how "developers" are scamming the Steam trading card system, unfortunately.

Half of the OP's trade feedback isn't related to trade at all. Hot damn.

I think the only reason this guy has the gall to show his face in public any more is because he's betting on people having forgotten his overt scams. Well, scam singular, I guess, if you consider abandoning an early access game unfinished not to be a scam.
