add him on steam and just see if he reacts on there if he doesnt mark as unreceived

I'd contact him and wait a little bit longer.

wait a few more hours to make it a week in total. then add them on steam. if that won't help, mark it as not received. but first of all delete the giveaway link from op.

If the guy marked the gift as sent, then make sure to check your junk mail folder. You could try adding him on Steam. Otherwise all you can do is wait for the 7th day and mark it as unreceived.
