It's garbage. it's only free if you have Gold active. Though due to the architecture of 360 online, it doesn't deactivate once the Gold subscription lapses, unlike actual "Free" Xbox One games. (they don't have a system for expiring licenses on 360)

So technically, yes it is free forever. Only for 360 games, but you need a Gold active to claim. Well, "Forever" in terms of how long the online marketplace exists for 360. I'm guessing it'll phase out in the next 5 years or so. So, yeah... "Forever".

Man, I have got to get some sort of hard drive for my poor neglected old 360. Barely any games on it, and not enough room for the 2-3 digital games I do have. Currently downloading this to a USB flash drive and it's taking forever.

Easy way to collect your phone and billing info...wants me to add that before proceeding...I'll pass
