"CS:GO Free" coming to Steam store today

Wait... can someone explain me what's going on? CS:GOing to be free? And what for people who already bought it?

I wouldn't play it even free of charge. It came included in the Valve complete pack I bought a couple of years back, so that's the only reason why it's in my Steam collection. Its +1 towards the total games count, is worth as much to me as the +1 from a shovelware title.

Good thing I guess. Try before you buy. I long abandoned the paid version so I'm not really interested, but those curious about it can easily have a go and decide if they need the paid version or not. Therefore I think it's a very wise decision to go this route for what's already a top selling game.

i guess that if you add it, it will count as owned sgwise, if you know what i mean....

OFFTOPIC: I'm so happy when I see old users like "Fantastick" with their old avatars still hanging around this forum. :D

People can download maps from the steam workshop and play surf or jumpmaps for example :)

It's so good to know you can degrade to "Free Edition" by just getting a VAC ban.
