Wondering what games you already own from this bundle? There's an extension/UserScript for that! It's called the RaChartβ„’ Enhancer!

This script enhances the charts by showing you which games you already own from the ones in it. If you own it, the row will be highlighted with a green color.

Screamer looks good, but more hints for other games be nice, then again if it's an Interplay Bundle, could be fun.

Interplay is finally doing Steam bundles! :D Been following them ever since their catalogue went up for sale (I have no idea if someone actually bought it or not). I just find it weird that they were willing to do 90% off byob on GoG but barely 50% off on Steam /shrug

Uh ... no.
Played most of their classics ages ago. No reason to play them again with so many new games.

Thanks for the thread, though.

Getting better and better.

The upcoming steam game might be this one:

http://store.steampowered.com/app/646030/Redneck_Rampage_Possum_Bayou/

There are only two Dreamcast games from Interplay and they are not on steam:

Draconus: Cult of the Wyrm and MDK2 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Interplay_games)

Indeed, this coming from a guy who couldn't curate a decent bundle if his life depended on it.

considering how often his own stuff is in the bundles he curates, im pretty sure it does

You could probably get a monkey to pick games for a bundle but it wouldn't mean that it was any good

Screamer? I loved this game as a brat but the DOSBox version on GOG is broken, at least during my attempts at playing it. Somehow I doubt the version on Steam will be any different.

Permalink

did you contact support on the matter? - they exist (unlike steam support)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Checked forums instead, found it was a common enough issue, and fixes didn't really help everyone. Played with both in game settings and resolution modes.

Someday I'll just get some old clunker PC, install W98 and enjoy it on that. My CD should still work.

at which point you should have contacted gog support, theyd have either got it working or refunded. the fix was most likely to add to the list of DEP exceptions btw. usually is with many old games gog has that dont otherwise work.

Edit: and at which point, i very much doubt the gog version is broken in any way

Someone suggested letting them know that it crashed in 2012. The problem still happens in 2017. No way that someone didn't in that time, so support didn't / couldn't fix it. The other suggestions there also didn't work.

Yes, because me telling them about an already known issue will make all the difference, all those other users were just peons that weren't important enough to get them to fix this.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

you mean the few people that posted on the forum... most of whome probably also didnt contact support to find a system specific solution which is what gog does in these kinds of cases IF you bother to contact them.

what an absolute wazzock.

Well I bought both games for much higher prices long ago. This bundle is a steal for these two games alone. In fact I have the entire Interplay catalog purchased with the exception of Redneck Rampage: Possum Bayou due to it being stuck in "Coming Soon" for months now. If that has even a chance of unlocking it's probably worth my preorder. Hmm... :D

Might not be for you but it is for me. Not worth even 1 cent. Why would I want a 20 year old game?
And once again I'm glad I didn't pre-order. Groupees sucks. Worst bundle site ever.

You and me both, sister.

Of course. I wouldn't pay 1 euro for Skyrim, for example. But you shouldn't dismiss old games as a whole. Groupees kinda sucks though, it used to be a decent bundle site but now it's mostly shovelware.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

But would you pay 1 cent for Skyrim? That's the real question here. At what point do you break and buy just about any garbage?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Good question! :) I would pay 1 cent for Skyrim, sure. I would buy anything for 1 cent. But I don't harvest all Indiegala (or worse) bundles, so I guess 10 cents is not enough to entice me... :D What about you?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I buy any kind of crap in the $0.00 to $0.15 region, really. I'm subscribed to IndieGala keys.
For the more recent edition of Skyrim I might even be willing to spend a euro or -gasp- two.
But not more.

Oh wow, I like these kind of games. Tender Loving Care looks really interresting.
But actually I prefer to have those games on GOG. On GOG I have a lot of nice old games. In my steam library it's hard to find them after a while xD
Hmmm...on the other hand I could make a new category for these old games...

Aaargh, don't know if I should get them xD"

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

You think you got it bad finding something with 1000+ games, try finding something with 5700+. xD

Get them on steam and who knows you might get them eventually with GOG connect.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

lol yeah, I can imagine how hard it is to find something there unless you have sorted your games very well xD

Hmm...most of the connect games were newer ones, as far as I can remember. So chances to get them via connect are not that good, I think.

But I will think about it. Thanks! ^^

At one point I just resorted to just doing the 'add to favorites' thing for games I want to find again. "Favorites" since grew from 20 to 450 games.

Is there a list of previous Remutes anywhere?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I guess the closest you can get is: ITAD list

Edit: Actually Barter has now more Remute bundles than ITAD: https://barter.vg/bundle/2404/
You can navigate through the series with the top menu (left is the previous one, "#20") ot just click on the top "Remute" to see them all.
The only one outside the series is: Best of Remute Bundle

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

You can also just go to any Remute bundle on Groupees (ie. https://groupees.com/remute21) and manipulate the url. Start with https://groupees.com/remute -- that'll be the first, and then https://groupees.com/remute2, https://groupees.com/remute3, ... It's just enumerated like that. A lot of Groupees bundles that are in a series are like that.

(This is Remute's 21st.)

The url for Best of Remute is /remutebest, but the games in that one are from past Remutes (as you would expect).
