Mystery solved, it seems. They were blocking many regions from claiming, resulting in an "access forbidden" error. That's what I got. A user tried through a UK proxy and was getting through with that. No "forbidden" errors:

My key was recived few seconds after confirm my mail. No problem at all. I someone miss this, try to vote for golden joystick i think there's still time to cast u vote.

they keys are limited and are first come first serve they made that clear at least for me i guess some just did not bother to read everything and just voted

i got my key so i take it voting ended early but i got my key because i do not have the game not to use to make money or use as a GA like a lot have which is there right but now the site is flooded with them yet it is a free game so why have they not revoked it for being free??

anyhow i am sure a lot will be bitching about this
