A lot of water-themed games in this, eh?
bailing on them until they bring back the charity sliders

People are still trying to work out why some have and some don't. Last I looked they were possibly taken away if you were in the habit of giving HB nothing, but also might have been removed for people who have used the sliders at all.
I've given HB zero almost exclusively ever since the kerfuffle about them locking people's accounts, as at least I could write it all off as a charitable donation if they ever stole all my keys.

I always forgot to change it but still can't see it.

I always made sure Humble and the Publishers got part of the money. The charity of my choice always got the larger percentage though. They removed the feature from my account too, so it can't be that. Unless they expected people to give the charity very little.

Well, I am interested in 2 of the T3 games, but their combined full price in Russian store is lower than T3 price.

For y'all worrying about sliders, someone on Reddit made a script. Idk if it works on the backend though, but it fixed the visual for me.

Np! The main concern would be that it doesn't work on HB's side, just on our side.

That's what I assumed. That really does suck tho. Especially bc less than a dollar is going to charity with the default sliders.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work. Just seems to help on the user's end but not the backend.

If u see it using that extension, it doesn't work. If you saw it before the extension, from what I can tell, it works.

Extremely. Had a friend create a new account and set all to a single charity and they saw their (converted)14.84 donation show up as 10.67 for charity if you were curious. They are non-US citizen so conversion is going to be some of that, as well as admin fees and whatnot.

Wow, yeah that's bad. They could have left the sliders and set a minimum amount that you could give Humble. Doing it this way seems kinda gross.

Was too late. I saw 8,24 Euro BTA but I am sure it was lower on the start.
Anyway, can anyone tell me what are currently game bundle days if there is any rule. I still used to Tuesday and possibly Thursday, but that has changed and currently I am not sure:)

Only really interested in Lost Ember. Might have bought it for charity, if I would have been able to select my own - preferably one related to the bundle theme, like Whale and Dolphin Conservation - and if they didn't remove the sliders for me. Now, no buy.

I'll buy the full bundle if/when the slider returns

There are some good looking games here, but I'm a bit worried that these are artsy games with bad/boring gameplay. I really can't stand games that look good but are not fun to play (examples: GRIS, Rime, Beyond Eyes, Candle, Old Man's Journey). I'll probably have to look into them carefully before joining GAs.
Otherwise Summer in Mara is in my favorite genre (farming sim), but the bad reviews bother me a bit. This probably isn't a bad bundle but it's a skip from me.

Haha, to each their own. Candle would fit more into "bad gameplay", it's got speed puzzles requiring precision while the controls are clunky. Being stuck for 15 minutes redoing a puzzle because the game itself doesn't work well is a no-no for me. To be fair though, I got it for free from Lootboy and it's not a game I would seek out and buy otherwise.

This is probably the vocal minority! It's such a popular game that when people get a chance to say that they're not fans of it they're probably going to take it. If you can go into the game just enjoying the visuals and the messages it's trying to convey, you'll probably think it's great, but at its core it's just a bare bones platformer with nothing much you can do.

I genuinely hope it will go well for me. I played too many "artsy" games where the lack of gameplay and the length made it painful. Like, I prefer doing some good gameplay while listening to some simpler stuff, or having some really quality listening while doing the minimum (walking sims). I barely know anything about GRIS besides animation is nice, and the themes about depression or something.

If it helps, I adored GRIS. At the beginning it just looked fabulous but with each chapter the gameplay also progressed in huge steps.

Totally agree, gris was not as good an experience as people said

Interesting to see, as I dropped Rime for the not fun gameplay, but enjoyed GRIS.
From this bundle I played Never Alone and the platforming is definitely rough.

That's also interesting, because both Rime and GRIS cover the 5 stages of grief. I guess it's about how you present the message...

Having finished Summer in Mara before, I can say it's a really nice family (playing with kids) adventure game with farming / crafting mechanics, but mainly fetch quests galore! Crafting and farming is necessary for doing quests, but it's not a main gameplay mechanic. It's also too linear and silly for adult gamers, I enjoyed it fully with my 2 year old kid :)

Ah gotcha, then it wouldn't be for me. A big part in my love for farming sims is the relaxing atmosphere, but the feeling of always having something I can do with my time in the game is important too. A linear game consisting of fetch quests probably isn't what I'm looking for.
