It always amuse me how every group of people made a specific set of sounds to communicate, and how much different those sets of sounds are.

I know that I'm not gonna get around to play my entire backlog but I couldn't bring myself to delete games, mainly because I don't know for sure what I'm going to play and what not. Many times I install and start playing on impulse, just scroll through the list until something catches my eye.

I too can say don't know what I'll play next but I do know my taste that shaped in years, so I know what doesn't interest me, mostly. "Deleting" something from a library was hard at first. And I'm not talking about Steam library. I started doing this on my actual library. I have a big one and I know the every part like a librarian, and I'm proud of it. There are even books from my high school times. You can say there are also some unnecessary youngster sparks in there. If they're treasure-worthy I keep them, if not I give them away or just sell. Just extending my doings onto my Steam account.
I used to do scrolling thing too but guess I'm getting tired of it. :)

Wow, well said! And a nice music video (:
The same reason why I started picking the GAs I enter more carefully. Like your one (;
I let fate decide what to play next be randomizing, and quit if I'm not interested. I use trading to exchange unwanted games for something I really want.

Well, I think I can help, though this one is Georgian (originally Kazım Koyuncu's song). I don't myself use online services for music, I prefer old school, or at least I should have them locally if they're digital. So, instead of being random I can suggest according to your taste maybe (nostalgic, rock, psychedelic, pop etc.), individually from Youtube. Pop is mostly trash in my opinion though. :)

Wow. Kudos on pulling the trigger. I have a category in my Steam Library tagged "To be deleted" just in case I get the impulse but I haven't been able to hit the button yet.
The size of my library is getting ridiculous and it's a bit of a mess tbh with lots of freebies and lower tier bundle games that I have already played so they really should go. But I just can't do it.
I wish I could donate them to someone. Like used books.

Thanks. I was actually planning this since the day Valve brought this feature. Hard part was the checking every game to see if I'm interested in them or not. That's what took me so long. There were even "overwhelmingly positive" games in them. As long as I'm not interested it's fine I guess. :)
I wish I could donate them to someone. Like used books.
Yeah I wish we could do this.

I know but as long as I don't see them in normal ways it's OK for me. Though maybe I could do this too.
I actually did a similar thing with Dota 2 items. They didn't delete the game itself but they did agreed with deleting all the items. It's a thing. Deleting non-Valve F2P games is okay and even easier, but that's not the case for Valve games. Maybe they will add that too but not soon it seems.

You KNOW? I agree with you! I always telling my friends about Human curiosity always stronger, larger, and limitless. We wont have time to fulfill CURIOSITY. No, nothing, it has NO End. I strongly agree with you.
Btw, this entire year i regret knowing Steam and making me so excessive on buying games with Zero saving. I dunno why but, i become addicted to Steam games collecting. Bless me I can stop this m8 :)
Believe me, world outside is more worth it than you keep going online, this is based on my own experience :)
You're a great-great Man Dude! Hope i have a friend like you.

Nothing wrong with collecting as long as you play them I guess. :) I bet lockdowns made you buy more things but that's okay. We needed hobbies to past time and this is a hobby. What I can say is, if some game is in your wishlist, buy it if there is a good discount, because you know you will play it eventually. If you don't need it, don't take it even it's free. Important part is maintaining an accurate wishlist (Currently working on this myself).
I'm just a normal person but thank you for your thoughts. As for having friends, if you can find one good friend, it's better than to have several normal friends. Because it's hard to find a confidential friend. I understand you.

Yep, my steam is 9 Years on service but, actually actively use since June 2020 LOL. I feel the pain for zero saving now.
Since excessive buying became my addiction, now i have to fight myself upon spending. Right now is zero savings and unemployed.
Hope it ends soon, yeah really soon, i mean it.
Thanks for your WORDS mate! Those words are make my day rn!

You have some actually good games waiting to be played, I suggest don't rush to buy new ones. Words are not effective against addictions though. :)
I hope you find a job soon enough, it is especially hard since the last year. And this won't end before the majority is vaccinated it seems.

Hey all!
I recently deleted about 400 games via Steam support page and this feature makes me happy. As a person who even reads the spam mails, hiding games was not enough for me to get rid of them. I used to activate all the games that comes with the bundles even that I know I won't play them (maybe check them one day?) however I wasn't doing this for a couple of years now (only buying games that interests me). Because I know very well I don't have enough time for all those games, all those books in my library, all those anime and films in my watchlist. As for the entertainment part of my life, I do only the ones I want, not because they're in my backlog. There is no end for the backlog. It's the human curiosity, it couldn't have an end. But our time has an end. Use it well, enjoy it well.
End of the line of getting old
Here, take some Mohevis Kalo for your ears.
And if you are interested here is a tiny gift. (LV4+)
