Q about multiple Steam games at once

If you are running multiple Steam games at once, will Steam still track the amount of time played for all the games running, or just the one that it says you are playing? Example you could have 2 games running, but it only says you are In-game "x" so would it only track time for that one game?

AFAIK it tracks all of them.

it will count all at once, but you can only idle cards one by one.

Multiple games run at once will all get their playtime tracked, but the profile will only show the last one you launched.
You can also farm cards on multiple games simultaneously, although the drops would be significantly slower.
