How do I/You start a giweaway for a game that doesn't pop in the game selector?

For example: SpaceChem http://store.steampowered.com/app/92800/?snr=1_7_15__13

SpaceChem as been free before and cannot be given away.
Every game distributed for free can't be given away (few exceptions).

Why are banned games on Steam being removed from SteamGift? You can still activate the game and play it on Steam.

Has it been changed so that games that were given away for free (namely Streets of Rage 2) can now have giveaways created for them, but they yield no Contributor Value? Before, those games wouldn't appear on the list of games one can create a giveaway for when I search up their names.

That’s correct. You can now gift games that were given for free but you will not receive CV for them. They’re indicated by a ** next to the title when you select from the drop down.

As far as removed games go, I believe they wouldn’t show up since SG pulls from the Steam API and since they no longer have a store page, there’s nothing to pull. That being said you may be able to open a ticket with support for a manual add, but I am not sure if it’s different for removed games.
