Steam trailer/pics/customer reviews and a quick search on youtube (preferably a "wtf is...?" from tb) are fine for me.

You can try NeoGAF, but the PC community there is the worst I've encountered.
They are by far have the whiniest PC gamers I've seen. These people were already calling Metal Gear Rising a "shit port" before it was released because it was capped at 1080p.
Don't even try reasoning with the PC community, I tried that telling them that 1080p was a good resolution but that somehow made them even more anally anguished, and that was just one thread.

I heard GiantBomb is a nice place, but never tried it.

Well, when you spend $10k on PC to play in 4k, you probably want to play in 4k.

That's a terrible response. So everyone who spends money on a fancy muscle car should be able to drive at full speed every time they drive, right?
You're forgetting that this is a console-port. I have no idea why people expect a dedicated PC game out of one.

"I have no idea why people expect a dedicated PC game out of [port]."

That's the line developers use when someone says "hey, let's make proper port that supports all resolutions and isn't locked on 30 FPS".

1080p is good resolution if your display is 16:9 1080p
but if you have something like 16:10 1200p display, it's going to be having sterecthed horizontally, which looks bad.

But wouldn't say shit port, probably just oversight considering it's their first pc port.
Note: I don't have game nor I have played it

For my type of games, i mainly check The Wargamer, one of the very few websites to among others make reviews of wargames ( as opposed to RTS ).

Oh just by checking their website now i found out that Scourge Of War Waterloo is in preparation, cool :-)

EVERYWHERE. Having one place 'the community' is too mainstream for pc gamers, and we're more introverts anyway.

RPS, Steam, even the many chans out there and SG...
