I actually vote for this user to be warned. First of all you can't delete all the folder and i'm sure many of the users here have no knowledge about their OS and whatnot. This can create many problems to newbies and the thread should be deleted and the user warned or something.

I vote for perma-banning him. That's what they do on Linux forums to users posting "rm -.. /" commands as solutions to any problem.

I love Linux, but still... I have 1% experience with it. (Just starting up and quitting x)

How ever, many programs and games aren't compatible for Linux.

Sooo ... is there a way to vote for a warning / ban or do we just have to hope that a mod will see this and have the same opinion as us, that this kind of jokes are not funny?

Because they are not. Believe or not, there are a lot of people that will try to do this and even if you can't delete system32 they will look for ways to do this and eventually find them.

That doesn't take time though, you can just leave it running and restart your machine once an hour.

And you get the feeling of starting something new.. i re install my OS 4-5 times a year.

Surely they must also then buy a new mouse, keyboard, games, webcam, steering wheel, gamepad, mousemat, desk lamp, desk, carpet, house, and car, too?
