We were going to trade my Saints Row 3 steam gift + Warhammer 40,000 Eternal Crusade for CS GO keys. He told me that he didn't have the money in his steam wallet but he has a steam wallet code. So I accepted because he has rep in Steam Trades, but I went first with Saints Row and then he blocked me. Please report him.

His name in Steam Trades was KINGX and he had 777 rep positive....

Report him on steamrep and to Steam, perhaps.
There's not much SG support can do for trades.

edit: also, read Hawkeye's reply about his rep and impersonators.

First, no calling out
And second, since he has more than 700+ rep, I'm pretty sure it was impersonator / someone prettending to be him
(I even have one of them)

Next time, download browser extension called Enhanced Steam. http://www.enhancedsteam.com/
It will show if a person is tagged as scammer or not (and more)

And always double-check if they are the REAL trader, not fake

Sometimes I think I really should have become a con man. The amount of people who fall for the most obvious traps can astonish me.

I tought the same but communication with imbeciles actually requires an enormous amount of cognitive resources to be able to fake being at their intellectual level, thus leaving conning idiots with a not so great return on investment ratio.

There is a LOOOOOT of people who didn't say shit and didn't do nothing when another user called out and posted a loooot of images and "proof" and, one by one, left messages asking to report him. There is a LOOOOOT of users who reported the user after the calling out and encouraged the user who called him out.

So don't start with the "no calling out" now.

Well, just by simply searching through profiles I found one profile that is legit and set as public, and one that is an impersonator that is set on private.
Hint: Don't accept private / profiles with less than 200 games as your friend, unless you most certainly agreed upon a trade on Steamtrades, which in this case is not true. So you got scammed by an impersonator. Welcome to Steamtrades, fam. 😊
