Hello

I am going to buy a new computer, and i am thinking of buying the ASUS ROG G750 Series G750JS-NH71 Gaming Laptop. Is this a good laptop for gaming?

I am just wondering if you think this will be able to play games like Battlefield 4, Far cry 3 and 4, Watch_Dogs, Shadow of mordor and GTA V, when it comes out. Do you think it will be able to play all games, maybe not on the highest settings, but with ok framerate and Graphics?

Also, when i was looking at Newegg.com i found the same computer but with different specs.

The price is the same, so i was wondering which of those two is the best. The second one look better, but i don`t know much about this. And why does it then cost the same if it is better?

Also if you know about a laptop that is better then this one for about the same price, or cheaper of course, then i would like to hear.

Sorry if it was bad english.

Thanks!

L is for low-voltage. May affect battery-life, but that is all.

I would get 2.
More RAM, better graphics card, and a slightly better cpu.

My laptop has a gtx 870m, and I have played far cry 3 and shadow of mordor on it, with high setting and it has very playable framerates. Can't say anything about watch dogs or battlefield though, but they should be fine. My brother has far cry 4 on his laptop with a gtx 860m and it runs fine there, so it will run fine on the gtx 870m, which is better.

These kind of comments (not specifically yours, they appear in every similar question) assume that everyone buying a laptop capable enough for gaming are stupid.
They are right of course, because people buying a laptop which can run games obviously bring it home, bolt it on a desk and never move it again. It can not happen that people may use the same laptop at school, at their workplace, when visiting friends (LAN party, anyone?), when visiting the other parent (divorced parents, anyone?), or just people living in several places, or even several countries because of their studies or jobs.

I would get 2, just check somewhere it has the ports you like (USB, HDMI/DisplayPort, etc.), as the specs page does not list any.

Like what everyone else mentioned: Better CPU/GPU/RAM.

You'll be happy with that choice.
