You see all those guys being sarcastic and stuff, that is because this kind of threads come frequently in the forum and they think it is annoying.
Although I can understand your wonder, you never really know unless you finally won something
Take it from me when I say: 'yes, you can actually win games here, but take a look at your chance. If you studied math and probability youll see to win a game where 2000 entries are you got 1 on 2000 chance to win it. That means if you enter such a giveaway 2000 times you should win at least 1 time. This is how probability works in theory. Practical you can win 3 times in your first 2000 tries, but you probably wont win the next 4000 times. '
Anyway, trust me if I say you can indeed win gifts, but it takes patience and many tries.
Meanwhile you could read the FAQ to get used to this site and how it works.
Good luck

That's not how probability works... if he wins 3 of those 2000 giveaways, he has the exact same chance of winning 3 in the next 2000 and so forth. The site doesn't remember if you've won or not, so the chance is always the same.
Also there is no guarantee he'd win 1 in 2000 in that situation. Just to clarify, don't want him doing a "I entered 2000 and didn't win" thread later on. :P

True, the site doesnt (really) remember what you win, but in chances of probability if you enter 6000 times a giveaway of 2000 entries you mostly (in rules of math) win 3 times. Its like rolling a dice, if you roll it 12 times, you should get 2 times a 6. But this is in theory.
The chance indeed doesnt increse or decrese, but the probability is lowered.

Since adderke seems more intent on verbalizing math instead of writing it out, let me give you some concrete numbers.
Probability of rolling a six: 1/6
Probability of rolling anything other than a six: 5/6
Probability of rolling two sixes in a row: 1/6 * 1/6 = 1/36.
Probability of rolling a six and then not a six: 1/6 * 5/6 = 5/36.
Basically, even though the likelihood of rolling any number each time is the same, it is statistically more likely to roll two different numbers. In other words, when entering 2000 giveaways you have the same chance of winning each one as everyone else entering but winning many in a row is less likely to happen though not impossible.

The first time I won anything, the aliens came; and then later, men in black suits broke down my door and then shot my dog. The second time, I just won a game. So I'm guessing it's like a potluck thing. 50/50 chance of evil conspiracy and winning a game.

You should leave. This site is a big scam and it's impossible to win.

In theory yes, there were people that won in first 10 giveaways they entered, in practice it's hard there are people that didn't one anything after 2+k giveaway they entered.
If you are really lucky u will win at the first giveaway you enter, if you are unlucky you can enter 10+k giveaway and never win (dispate the fact that you entered giveways where there was only 1 more person that entered it).

It depends on how to select and enter giveaways. Depends.
