Arkham City GotY Edition

Just don't worry about it. Get the rest of stuff contained on sale.

I bought the base game only but I feel the same. Now I just hope the DLC-s will be on deep sale sometime, so maybe i can compensate a bit.

I mean, I waited months for the DLC to go on sale before I bought it, and I at least got there-order discount for the main game... I dunno. Nothing you can really do for this, but you have my sympathies.

I bought Portal 2 at $45, then couldn't get it to work for months. By the time I could play it, it had already gone on sale for $15. I felt bad, but at least my money went to a good company, at least they didn't let me swap it for the hyped-but-lukewarm Brink, at least I got a cool TF2 badge.

You shouldn't have bought it so late after release... and especially not at full price. Sorry.

...although it is the best game of 2011, so if anything is worth that price, it's Batman: Arkham City. IMO.

I've had the game sitting in my account unplayed since around December last yr. Still haven't even finished it's predecessor let alone got started on this one.

Luckily none of the DLC interest me in the slightest so I don't care about the GOTY varient.

I just saw that the SecuROM description on the game changed. Does that mean no more activation limit?

never buy a game at full price or at D1 unless rare rare occasion. this is what steam is teaching to us. too bad you don't listen :)

WHat it includes, in the description it doesn't specify. I guess all the dlcs.

Well, GOTY edition was announced like 3 months ago, too bad you didn't hear that.

I think GOTY editions are great gets the game back into the spotlight and gives other people a chance to play the game if they havent already

Looks like the GOTY version doesn't have GFWL as well.

Next time just look it up before commiting to a buy. I was gonna get it during the steam sale, then googled and found out that it was soon to be released.

Most steam games go on sale/and some goes GOTY, you should only buy any game for full price if you really, REALLY want to play it urgently.

Lesson learned. Big name names (AAA) with lots of DLC always wait.
