Hitman Absolution or Borderlands 2?

This is the hardest decision I've ever had to make. So, what game should I get? Hitman Absolution or Borderlands 2? And no, I can't get both. They're too expensive.

Borderlands 2. Absolution looks like it will be completely unlike the rest of the series, and more of a BANG BANG SHOOT EXPLOSIONS FUCK YEAH type game (see Call Of Duty).

First trailers and news showed really crappy Hitman game (something like Conviction next to rest Splinter Cells). It's the latest news that made me believe that first news was just to get CoD/BF fanbois, and now they finally decided to speak to real fans (starting with rehiring David Bateson as 47's voice - or, maybe they just stopped beating around the bush...).

It's the 'Crap Comparing Level'. It's that bad we use it to compare if other game's are going to be that bad. Personally can't wait for Hitman 5 (Absolution), as long as it stay's true to Hitman and Hitman: Blood Money and avoid's the arcadey Hitman 2 and shocking Hitman: Contracts style game play.

In this case, I mention both CoD and BF because those are the biggest FPS names. And first Hitman trailers had lots of explosions, even more bodies and people drowning in cartridge cases shot from guns - just like those FPS.

Well, take B2 if you want some Coop action and Absolution if you want to have a (hopefully) great Sp experience I would say ^^ (I'm going with Borderlands 2)

The problem is we can't help you with that. There will be people saying go with BL2 and there will also be people voting for Absolution. Did you like Blood Money? Did you like Borderlands? Which one did you like more.

Both of them seem to be great games, and developers of both did a lot to improve over their predecessors. My guess is whichever you get you won't regret, but if it was me I would go for Borderlands 2. :)
