4000 games filtered (+GAs)

Well, it's been a glorious day, I've reached the magical number of 4 000 on my filtered game list.

I tend to filter everything, that's

  • too early access,
  • looks more like a weekend project,
  • seems to be someone's very first game ever,
  • has more asset store items than custom made items,
  • has overwhelming negative reviews despite being in the market for years,
  • looks more like a cash grab,
  • not even optimized to be played on a computer

...also a bunch of other stuff...

So... question time:
How do you figure out which games to filter?
What are your criteria?
Did you ever "unfilter" a game?

39, the vote propositions should have been like 10+, 100+ etc. Also it should have been 9000+

I filter games I know I don't want, especially if I see them often. But now I mostly enter whishlisted games, so I don't really need to. Never unfiltered.

Yeah, I missed the plus signs, but I think that's how everyone clicked anyway. Can't edit the pole now, sadly.

It started with just hiding stuff I already owned, well, I kept going down that rabbit hole, so now I hide everything that doesn't fit the criteria of "I want this, and would play it within a month", so I even hid most of my wishlisted games. 9130 now.

Many, i'm not sure how much lol. I use extended steamgifts, i set only show level 5 up giveaway. ;)

I guess you have fewer GAs then actually.:D Even LVL4+ GAs are pretty rare, I believe.

For me it is 5603 filtered games (+1006 in library), so now i see only 2-3 pages of GAs. It is very convenient to save some time daily 😊

I cleared mine the other day, so I've only had 1 of the list. I "filter" via my wish list, but will filter on SG for games I own but can still enter...

Nah. I had a list of games I wanted to get per system on my gmail. But haven't updated it in a while. Too many games I haven't kept up with. So I just try to collect as many games as I can now if they are cheap or have good reviews or been highly recommended.

Congrats! I only got 226 as I just filter DLC I already own, deluxe editions (and similar) of games I already own and VR games. I am one of those people who like to give any game a try no matter the reviews or how it looks as I have found quite a few things that I liked that other people didn't.
