It'll be released today (8th of May), probably early-morning West Coast US time.

Well, since they've actually come out with an official date, I doubt they will change it. In a few hours from now, I think.

"Today" (though it's now the 9th of May here); Valve said it would be the 8th of May. As jmmL said, it'll probably be West Coast US time.

yup, downloading for me too. It's a 10 gigs update so I doubt it's just bug fixes, it's the real deal.
