It's worse if you have a console. Then you have to wait hours for the console to update, to finally start the game, where you have to update the game.

I just wish they had it on Steam. I do have a Ubisoft account, but I'd prefer to just have to load up one client whenever possible. I bought Valhalla for my girlfriend last Christmas. This year, she got Call of Duty: Vanguard. ;)

I truly don't care. I just want to play the games, no matter which launcher I have to start to do it. I wouldn't want to pass on a game I like, just because of that extra click I have to do. Btw, if you want to combine your launchers and have everything in one place, maybe check out GOG Launcher 2.0. You can have all your games in there (Steam, UPlay, Epic, Origin...).
Oh, and happy cake day! :)

I guess the install files on the EGS server are not updated yet. Bought it there, but maybe should have done the installation via UbiConnect instead.

Well...it's just one more launcher, on Steam or EGS it would be propably the same

Yeah, it was on EGS, actually. Maybe that was the problem. Bought it on EGS, but perhaps should have installed it via UPlay.

It could be worse: The patch could break the game.

So, I bought AssCreed Valhalla yesterday. Wanted to play it some time anyway. And 20€ seems like a good deal. So I bought it and installed it yesterday evening. Just now went to the store to get an energy drink (which I sometimes enjoy when playing games). Came back, started the game - and it wanted me to install an update. Just so you know, download size for the full game yesterday was 48GB. How bad could it be, right? So I started the update, just to find out that its size is a whopping 77GB! Again, full game yesterday: 48GB. What the hell!
So, I read about this patch, and it sounds very nice and all. Bugfixes, performance enhancements, more game settings... but why don't they replace the download files for fresh installations? Extremely annoying. That means waiting another couple of hours for me. Oh well, if I can't have fun, maybe you can at least. ;)
