it's always up to GA creator to decide to disclose game being given away or not. You should never ask other users what game it is if GA creator decided not to disclose this information - revealing game being given away is suspendable offence (Revealing Puzzle Information or Game - 24 hours Suspension).

Fair enough. I've asked other puzzle makers and they've been happy to tell; I wasn't trying to get a user to break the rules. And in all fairness, while it makes sense to suspend for giving away a puzzle's URL, it seems silly that the game title should be a secret. In fact I don't think that goes with the spirit of SteamGifts at all, which has to do with spending a precious limited resource (ie points) as you see fit, especially when it takes considerable time (another precious limited resource) to solve a puzzle. But if a creator wants a LOT fewer entries, that's their business I guess.

You know what is another precious limited resource? Real Life Money ;P And that's what the GA creator is spending to buy a game you may win. You spend imaginary pints, he spends real life cash - it's his coice to do what he seems fit with the GA and to disclose or not information about it. You may not like it, but it's his game, his GA, he has bigger rights to decide about it than you do.
I personally usually disclosed game being given away in my puzzles or at least hinted it, but not always. I've had my reasons not to do so - varied ones. Joke puzzles for April's Fools, hidden GA in puzzle GA, part of an event and so on and on. Even if there's no reason - it's still Contributor's choice to diclose information or not. You don't like it? Noone is forcing you to solve the puzzle for "unknown" game - you still have shitload of other GAs, including puzzles with disclosed GA to join :>

Also it's not only about GA creator being rude - you may never be sure you solved all puzzles, maybe you missed something? Let's imagine hypothethical situqation: I make a puzzle, at the end I link to Bad Rats GA. But in this Bad Rats GA there is a hidden link to GTA5 GA which is actual puzzle reward. You don't notice Hidden GA - go to my puzzle thread and write "don't solve this shitty puzzle, there's only a shitty Bad Rats GA at the end" and a lot of potential solvers don't even try to solve my puzzle because of your comment, because they alreaqdy have / don't want Bad Rats.

Aww, I thought it was going to be Call of Cthulhu. Oh well, at least I know who I'm voting for now.

The better question should be "Who DOESN'T like Cthulhu?;)
Well, I guess his victims aren't overly fond of him, but I digress!;)
Thanks for the puzzle and giveaway.
BUMP!

Once you see the code you copy it (unfortunately manually) and then you open any giveaway and replace the letters in the URL (the ones before the name of the game the giveaway is for) and add "/" at the end of the URL. :)
Hope that doesn't sound too complicated
