There is a 3D Realms Anthology Re-rockestrated on their site which I think is drm-free.
//edit: it is just a music cd :P oops
I am a big duke 3d fan but I am definitely not buying the new remake. (unless it get bundled or less than 1 euro)
I bought the original version back in the day
and I have 2 different versions on steam.
It is a great game, but I don't want to buy it for the FOURTH time. That is just madness...

It would probably have to be without Duke then, because Gearbox owns the rights to Duke. That should not be impossible to accomplish, but I wonder if 3D realms are trying to get the rights to Duke, and are holding of until Gearbox starts playing ball with them (do note that the current 3D realms/Apogee software is actually Interceptor Entertainment, and not the original company).

Although it doesnt affect me on a personal level (got the pack before it got removed), it kind of grinds my gears how they stated that they are looking into getting those games back on track after the acquisition of Duke Nukem and other games rights, yet apart that awfully overpriced "remake" of Duke Nukem 3D, there has been a complete radio silence about this...
