Cryostasis anyone play it? i have a key but it is no longer on steam is it worth using?

Wasnt it in a bundles, if so I doubt it has much value.

graphics weren't that awesome, but story and atmosphere were quite good. Constantly looking for heat sources were also a bit of a hassle to be honest.

It was one of my favourite games from the year it came out; if you like atmospheric games, you can't go wrong with Cryostasis. The storytelling is quite unique and the health/heat system is also a really good mechanic that constantly keeps you on your toes, like in a proper survival horror game. I'd say go for it :)

It is worth to play. It has very deep atmosphere, some horror and deep story. It's not AAA game, but a good game. Give it a try.

Keep in mind that it's not optimized very well, so it might run badly if you have an old PC.

After winning it here on Steamgifts, i played through it and really enjoyed it. The progress is mostly linear, but that actually fits well into the story and great atmosphere the game creates.
As far as bugs are concerned, most of them (i don't remember encountering many) are visuals and do not affect the game-play. Just once did i jump down at a place i wasn't supposed to, and there was no way back up. But if you use multiple saves, you are good to go.
There is also a moral being told through the game, great to find such a thing in a video game imho.

Whether you give it away or redeem it yourself is up to you, maybe a game-play video can help you with your decision (would you enjoy the style, pace etc.).

I got it for free from some site years ago. Gamersgate, I think. I have it installed but I've never actually played it. Looked neat, though.

Edit: Searched my email account, and apparently I got it for free from Nvidia back in 2010.

maybe ill look at a video and decide i have seem some screens of it,and it did not seem like my type of game but then again that is like looking at a women/men across a tennis court and saying she does not look so hot lol

just thought i would see if any on here had played and wanted to make sure if i gave it away it was not removed because it was like unplayable bad or broken in some way

and i had a AMD 7950 so if it plays bad on that,then i know it was badly optimized lol
