Will this game get bundled? idk from where g2a resellers get it, but it cost just 40 cents on G2a and gives $40 value, I even saw several ppl exploiting this.....one guy even created 20 copies of it...and lots of other keep doing it, It started like 3-4 days ago, as I see.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/216390/

It's not on bundle list yet, http://www.steamgifts.com/bundle-games/search?q=fallen+enchantress and you can check all giveaways created for it http://www.steamgifts.com/archive

https://www.g2a.com/fallen-enchantress.html

Seems that cheap price is out of stock now

I know you don't like G2a, but this doesn't mean other ppl can't buy this, but even if it gets to bundle list, it will still give a lot of CV for just 40 cents.

Ok I failed the question of the poll, you probably can see why.

Should his get bundled?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Will you consider sending tickets to support about "bundling" games, that are available really cheaply in some regions (i.e. RU, SA)? Those regions are cheaper directly on steam and even cheaper in their key shops. Prices usually go way below 10% of value, but those games aren't considered as bundled, they still give you full value. Example? Shadow of Mordor was recently available for less than 4USD, while I have to pay for it on steam 46 EUR ... so let's send ticket, that it should be bundled on 4th January (maybe earlier).

and btw.
you wrote, that the price should be reduced to 0, i.e. give 0CV, start thinking, that amount of giveaways on this site may reduce ... a lot, if SG team will start doing so with all those so called exploits
and if they will bundle all those "cheap" games, as they (maybe) should ... you won't even have a chance to give away any full CV game bought in your region, when it's on sale of about 20-30%, as cheap regions prices will go so low at the same time, that the game will get bundle status.

There's an unwritten "95% off of the US Steam store price" rule.

So everything that goes on sale for 5% or less of the US Steam store price will most likely end up on the bundle list.

Cheers =)

exactly, unwritten
I have read those much earlier
I know that in this situation it is ... well, about 99%-off sale ;) but actually "H2O" always was the source of cheap keys (I am not really using it tho)
I can agree with "bundling" this title, but still I don't get it why someone (actually OP) wants to turn it to 0CV, while every giver has paid for those keys and every winner should be glad to be able to get this key and activate (most probably wont even start this game, but that is another topic).

I don't get it why someone (actually OP) wants to turn it to 0CV

Because winners are getting only the first game instead of the complete Ultimate Edition: http://store.steampowered.com/sub/85177/

You can't buy the first Fallen Enchantress alone on the Steam Store, but the giveaway creators are getting 40P full CV giving away a game that was removed from the store. If you create any GA, and that game is removed from the store later, your SG profile will update and it will show 0P (so 0 CV) for that particular game.

Because winners wanted to get only the base game - it is said clearly in the title, don't you think so ?
if you enter, let's say, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor GA, you know that you won't get the GotY edition, because title would be different

and actually there are many removed games and many people who want to get those games
and the reasons of removal are not only "because we have updated it", sometimes you simply can't get those games
if you enter this Fallen Ench.. GA, you will be able to at least try this game and decide if you want to try to get UE
but don't play stupid saying, that you would enter those GA thinking that you will get Ultimate Edition and mark key as not received because you wanted something else
like I wrote earlier to someone else - I have entered those GAs, won the game and I am happy with it, and see no reason to punish gifter with 0CV, I knew what I would get, I paid 40 SG points which I could use on something else, but didn't want and was lucky enough to win it

ah, and btw, this game is not the only one, where you can get way more CV than you should, actually there are a lot of them (no sense in looking for them on my account, as I am gifting away mainly leftovers from bundles, where value is minimal, but I know titles, where you can get nearly 2x more CV)

Yes, I can see you "paid" 40 points to win it but I can see too that you got 5 copies to give away and get 200$ of full CV spending... how much? How much did you really pay for those 5 copies? Do you think you deserve 200$ of full CV for those copies? Come on, you are clearly exploiting the system.

yes I did ... actually, after reading this topic
if not for this topic, I would not do it
and btw, everyone does this, when he/she is giving away bundled game before it gets bundle status, yet nobody screams
as I wrote, i think it will get bundled and I am ok with it, I don't see any "exploit" here
if it will not ... again I don't see problem, as I know that there are many bundles and really cheap games, that don't get the bundled status here even if they should - others are fair, because then don't buy keys from "H2O"? I don't agree with that. it's my first time and maybe last, but it doesn't matter here

in the end, I am only totally against the OP who actually:

  1. wants to grab gifters of their gifts value (I mean he wants 0CV for those GAs)
  2. spreads the word about this ... chance, that he is against. if not for this thread, I would not know about it

You mentioned "really cheap games, that don't get the bundled status" twice yet still not a single name. Btw feel free to submit a ticket / message Shogo, the bundler with proof about the discount and it will get added to the list. I've also done once, you can do it as well instead of throwing the unnamed games as examples.

The problem is that I usually don't really care if they have or don't, the bundle status.
When those games are cheap, if I am interested I am buying them for myself. I buy them and those keys don't see SG, they go to directly to my steam lib, except for the limited amount of unbundled items I have given away recently (2 titles bought + 2 HBMonthlys ).
HBMonthly is nice example here - example of bundled games without bundle status. those are blind buys so ... but still, so many GAs of those games pop up here, like ppl bought them blindly just to give them away (I don't believe that all of them are items, they already had, so they have given away leftovers).

other examples?
LEGO Jurassic Park, Shadow of Mordor - bought them this month under 10% of their original value (about 3,6 EUR each), there were more titles like LEGO Batman 3 and it's SP (also bought it, a bit earlier, don't remember the price) but in most cases I wasn't interested in those games so I didn't care to check if those sales were so great

another examples - have you seen F1 2015 giveaways yesterday? do you know where they came from?
F1 2015, Dirt Rally, Just Cause 3 were available yesterday for less than 2 EUR - price bug, but well, GAs created, let's bundle them from yesterady, ok? Witcher 3 was even cheaper to add 1 more title, but don't remember the price. if I remember correctly you can't make giveaways of such a bugged keys, but how can you check? only way to be sure that someone don't get full CV for such a key is to "bundle" title from the moment price bug occurred

Witcher 3 was stupidly cheap due to the price glitch, but it was a GOG key not Steam so it doesn't affect giveaways here.

I am giving away other stuff I managed to grab from the price glitch - but I fully expect it to be retroactively bundled and if I was trying to profit I'd have sold the key for papyal - just maybe helping out somebody who missed out on the deal...

oh right, I forgot it was GOG key
exactly, I know that if you want to earn - you'd sell what you bought so cheaply
I am not sure if you know why I wrote my first post in this thread - it was basically because OP wants 0CV for the givers of Fallen enchantes, because it was incredibly cheap, i.e. your GAs probably should also give 0CV - I can't agree with that
if those titles will get bundle status - it doesn't matter to me, I think they should, but if they don't ... well lucky you, lucky me

I'm pretty bad at farming CV myself. I could easily be at level 10 with the money I've spent, but either I dump surplus games from bundles or I prefer to do giveaways for heavily wishlisted games even if they haven't been on big discounts. But that is just me, I don't expect everyone else to do the same thing or have similar standards.

I still think Fallen Enchantress was pretty much an exploit. Especially as it had been removed from sale in the store but as it was still part of a package it was getting $40 CV for Fallen Enchantress Ultimate Edition which was Fallen Enchantress + Legendary Heroes + All DLC which was absolutely not what people were making giveaways for.

I wouldn't agree with 0 CV but on this occasion people really did seem to be taking the piss. Especially after looking through the archive and seeing that at least some of the people winning full CV 'Fallen Enchantress' were actually redeeming the bundle CV 'Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes'.

Bundle CV at least seems reasonable in the circumstances...

yup, I agreed with exploit, not fair 0CV and bundling those GAs
but the price is not from FE:UE
I don't know where SG takes it's prices from, but I am 99% sure, that it is not the price of FE:UE
I know other games, that changed their titles overtime, and those are available here, on SG for different amount of points and give different amount of CV, while it is still exact same product
I will not write the name here, because how this thread became reason to buy the keys and create GAs, I will not give anyone those titles, to see more of those higher value GAs.
And actually I have bought one of those games for myself. I remember, that when I have activated it, it has been activated as this higher value item, but in my lib it is this new - lower value item, because this old one does not exist anymore, it only points to the new one.

So in my opinion in all those cases (Fallen Ench. included) you get CV/pay SGpoints depending on the last registered price of that item, i.e. as written above, I think that FE GAs value is not dependant on the value of FE:UE and people (me included) were doing GAs for what they exactly wrote in the GA title (well, maybe there was someone who actually created GA for Ultimate with those keys, but that doesn't matter here), who did not want to pay this higher GAprice or give this amount of CV to the giver, simply should not enter and not write stupid ideas about reducing CV to 0. I knew about this "bug/exploit" for quite a long time (well, not about FE, this was new to me) and have entered every higher value GAs (having actually higher chance of winning) of those games not reporting anyone for using that exploit or screaming about it in discussions, what as I wrote, will have the exact opposite effect to the desired one.

Fallen Enchantress was removed from sale in the store. It was replaced by Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes in a shady move by the devs who wanted people to buy the game again as a standalone expansion rather than just buy DLC. I'm actually a fan of Fallen Enchantress and have followed this drama, but it isn't really relevant right now...

When games vanish from the store they have 0 CV value as this site pulls its info from the Steam database. Until eventually the mods get round to manually setting a value for the game based on it's last store price (see Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Planetary Annihilation, and other games that have been pulled from the store)

But there is also a glitch where games in certain circumstances will give CV according to collections they are in - which is why Deponia often gives crazy CV equal to the Daedalic Armageddon Bundle and which I'm fairly sure is the reason Fallen Enchantress was giving CV equal to the Fallen Enchantress Ultimate Collection.

I don't know the answers for sure and I'm not going to try and speak on behalf of the mods. I'm not criticising anyone else, despite not really farming CV I recently took advantage of an Indie Gala happy hour to make around $700 of giveaways for around $5 - even at bundle values that is crazy CV. The current CV system has flaws all over and it hard to say where exactly to draw the line when it come to exploitation.

But I do still think that Fallen Enchantress was an issue and the fact that it has now been pulled from giveaways seems to back that up. I'm not hating on anyone who made giveaways for the game, but if I was one of them I really wouldn't be surprised if I lost CV that I had gained...

This only tends to happen when a game gets removed completely, and steam does not report anything. When a game is still in the steam store, even if you can't buy it, it reports a value. If the game is in a collection, steam will report the value of that collection, and if it's not, steam will report a value of 0. That's why Mafia 2 & Darksiders 2 are worth 0 CV. I don't know if the mods can set a value for a game other than what steam reports, thus far they've only set values for games where steam has been unable to report anything.
If they can set a value for games, I would not be opposed to them just returning Fallen Enchantress to the 10 CV it should be worth.

They need to be 95% off compared to US Steam store prices for the game to get bundled, so Shadow of Mordor does not qualify for the bundle list (though it's close). Lego Jurassic World is not even 90% off at 3,6€.

in my case Jurasic costs 36,99 EUR, and my price was below 3,6, Mordor cost was only a bit higher and I still rounded it up to 3,6 EUR. so for me it is over 90%, maybe in case of US prices it is not, don't remember where I was able to check those

but ... can you link me to the place in FAQ/rules where you found this 95%? in discussions ppl point out situations of 85% sale as a reason to "bundle" title

It's not listed in the rules, but it has worked like this for a while. It's talked about here: http://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/h4oja/new-added-to-bundle-list-limit-set-to-90-instead-of-95
Including a comment from support.
Also, local normal price is unimportant, but if the price is ever lower than 95% of the US store price, that is when it gets added to the list. This means that if it's about 85% off in Russia, that will put it on the bundle list, as the converted price will be lower than 5% of the US price.

ok, so yesterdays pricebugs and my mentioned buys, which were about 90% off, do not fall under this bundle rule
I will probably never find any game that will fall under that rule, as I am not checking prices of what I am not buying for myself and after it's bought at any acceptable sale ... who cares about it's next sale price ;) well, except for those exploits I have mentioned (not by name) - with their higher value they probably will, but SG probably will not react to that, as the game has new title/id

Did yesterdays price bugs not reach "bundle levels"? At least that F1 game should have, was it not about £1,5 for a $50 game? That puts it in risk of being bundled.

ah my bad, it was so late for me, but I had to stay awake ... SG discussion was nice oasis for me ;P even if the topic was quite ... oh nvm (btw, FE is bundled already)
so, my math today at around 3AM was a bit ... wrong and yes, you're right
all those games should be around 50 USD and 1,5 GBP is around 2 USD => as every value here is rounded, so rounding up the sale - it was about 95% off sale, so there is a "bundling" risk
too bad it was limited to UK, I was not able to buy them (wanted Dirt and maybe F1 for myself + ofc Witcher 3 (GOG) directly from devs ;) )

Seems the price of 40 cents is gone, now, this created much mess than I thought, but I guess even if I didn't create the thread, there would be someone asking about from where come this keys, on a typical thread, and it would be revealed anyways.

By the way, if anyone still wants this game (and want to buy it from a legit source), it's still on sale over at Gamer's gate
It will probably be removed from there once Stardocks realize that they're selling the game somewhere, which might be when GG runs out of keys.
