Just found out there's a free weekend for Anno 1800 and figured someone else might be interested in giving it a go who is also a bit slow on the news uptake as I am.

I love Anno games and wanted to play 1800 as well, but I hate free weekends so I will pass :/

I remember I read that for Anno 1800 the free weekends are not the full base game but some kind of a trial version
Different build, think of it like a demo ..

I don't know if it is still the case this current free weekend or they changed that.

Can't say for sure but it wasn't as fun or as interesting as I imagined. Will wait for a deep deep sale if I'm ever going to pick this up.
