Do you know if your laptop is equipped with an HDD or an SSD (any variant)? What you describe reminds me of an HDD's read and write head failure. This would cause the disk to be unreadable, hence your error message.

If you have a traditional spinning hard drive, look up "hard drive click of death" and watch some videos to see if it sounds similar. The drive can fail in different ways and make different sounds.

This random video I just found has a sound that you might describe as "knocking".

If there is anything you want to recover off the drive, it is best to not keep trying to start it. You can look up different methods to recover the data yourself, but you will most likely have to send it to a professional.

that would indicate a storage issue, open your laptop up, and take out the storage device, either an SSD or an HDD, most likely its an m.2 ssd which is plugged in on the motherboard inside the laptop, take it out and replace it, lmk if that works or if youhave questions

They are quite affordable, even a cheap 256gb one shouldn't be more then 10$ or so, but there might be a financial situation, i wish you good luck, and God bless <3

+1, been using grocery store mice for years. So far my previous mouse lasted me around 2 years until I had to get a new one, still rocking the same old 10โ‚ฌ~ grocery store mouse for like what, 3+ years now? Still hitting crazy flicks in FPS games :)

Yeah, expensive mice are overrated imo, triple the price for slightly better ergonomics, and better "glide" as well as lighter weight
