FMV's were always a blast to play with some friends together on a couch and Harvester is one special weird as hell game :D, if it weren't for your post I never would have noticed that they pulled it from the local Steam store, hmm... too bad that nowadays there are way to few games choosing live actors for their cutscenes, e.g. I loved the cheesy mission briefings in C&C.

I checked all censored/indexed a few weeks ago and while at it I noticed Harvester for the first time. Put it on my manual (ITAD/barter) wish lists. It was already on sale at Steam (Halloween), but didnt want to use my UK account for it. I'm waiting now for a good reseller sale.

Great game. It's one of my favorite point and clicks. I also like "The Cat Lady" and I got excited when I saw that the developer is "Harvester Games". I tried searching, but couldn't figure out if the name had anything to do with the game Harvester.

I completed the controversial dark satire adventure game a few days ago and found the Facebook community at https://www.facebook.com/lodge.level.4/
The community isn't big (1,408 fans as of today), but guys are dedicated, they publish lots of good stuff. They even have a dedicated Youtube channel about the game. There are interviews with makers and actors from the game (it featured funny cheesy full motion video). They have memes, discussions, original artworks, alternative locations, even the original screenplay.
The game itself is still playable as of today. The interface is surprisingly responsive, no bugs, decent voice acting. The game is a little weird and ends in a low quality side scrolling fighting game, but it's worth it! If you like weird point-and-click, "Harvester" is regularly on sale for $0.59-$1.99.
