lol whats wrong with public? Its just not for giveaways but its for opinions/reviews/ideas/projects.... no one has to put any giveaways in there. Thats why I made it a public.

public giveaway groups are joined for giveaways. period. people will not care about other things in groups, it's waste of time :D

Thanks for your opinion. You don't have to join if you don't want to. Others that do, they are welcome to join. If they don't want to, then its their choice.

Yeah, but you're aware there are hundreds if not thousands of groups like that already? I hate to break this to you, but over here, people usually join groups for the giveaways, not to have convos and whatnot.

Thats fine. There are people who like to join other than giveaways. This is not the only platform for invites.

Yes, but again, there are at least hundreds of groups like yours on Steam. You want to build a community, you want your members to be active within your group... but why would they be if there's no incentive? Groups with 100s of members barely have any sort of activity. If you were some kind of popular streamer and already had a following, things would be different. All I'm saying is, don't get your hopes too high. Still, good luck with your group.

Thanks for the opinion. I will need to think of more creative ways to keep the group active. I do agree there are many groups out there with similar communities, but I will just need to give it a try. I won't know unless I try. It may work or it may not. Who knows lol.

You are absolutely right, you won't know until you try. :) Maybe have a look at some popular groups and check what seems to make people engage the most with the community and take some inspiration from that.

I am trying to build this community so I will need a lot of help.

If you want just chat with people, I would say discord is better option. Steam groups for chats are a lot worse.

Good luck. Just an idea, a few group-only giveaways, to entice people to enter, would be a good idea. At least to get a few members first.

Is one of the primary aspects of your group gifting on SteamGifts?

Yes, you can go into the group and pretty much either giveaway steam keys on that group or you can gift it on SteamGifts and post it on our group so our members would know and to enter.
