Preparing for steam summer sale with -75% discounts :D

CKII was on sale until yesterday and now again lol. Don't see any price changes, only that there were better discounts a few days ago.
EDIT: Now discounts are gone again? Was this a glitch?

Paradox has some games I really like but they have some very shady consumer practices... this seems just another example of inflating prices before the sale, in order to have a higher "discount".
I'm increasingly less inclined to give them my money.

While this kind of sucks, I only care how the sale price compares to the historical lowest. Always check IsThereAnyDeal or get EnhancedSteam plugin.

I think raising price is common practice with most consumer goods before a sale? Not just games. Just look at Christmas period for example. It's always the discount that catches peoples eye as opposed to the actual price & most people probably don't check the price of something they want to buy before a sale starts to the new sale price. Sometimes it ends up more expensive on sale, which I find amusing.

Oldest trick in the book. This is why you never buy something based on what percent it says it's discounted by.

I can confirm that they raised some of the game prices in South Africa. The dlc for Pillars of Eternity is 19% more, won't be buying it then :(
