I'm not into games like Outlast so I haven't played it nor do I ever intent to. If there are monsters in the game, there should also be weapons, otherwise I'm not interested.
My favorite horror games would be the Blood, old Doom games (everything before Doom 3) and Resident Evil 1-3.

It's just a demo made by Kojima, there was a demo on PS4 but I donno they removed it or not. You can watch the walkthrough on youtube. The game is short but worth to watch/play it once.

I enjoyed Outlast but found it quite easy. Insane was a pain but when you know what is coming the only real issue are some of the "bosses"

i've finished the base game and DLC about 3 or 4 times, my top favorite horror game so far, i love this kind of horror game when they don't give us any kind of weapon, only a torch or a camera that useful ( Slender The Arrival, Dreadout, Outlast, Amnesia: The Dark Descent...) but for me the most terrifying horror is Ju-On: The Grudge the video game

I played outlast for 30 minutes until I entered a room and "something" closed the door after me. I was too scared to open the door and keep playing lol. Hopefully I'll finish it one day because it's great :D

ok i finally managed to finish the insane mode of Outlast and it was giant painintheass!! but the game is good ..great i would say ..it's one of the best horror games i played so far and it's the most particular one ..for those of you that didn't play it, you have no gun, no knifes, no fists ..you're just a great cardio guy that won the world cup of "hide and seek" but not the one of "most clean underwear" (because i'm sure he pooped in his pants in that crazy asylum) ..i played it in the night with earphones and loud volume and it's freekin scary in so many ways that even my anxiety got anxiety.
who has tried it? what about the dlc ..is it good too? which horror game do you like the most? for me ..for me it is Silent Hill 3, the first Silent Hill i've tried...and it was love at first sight.
anyway here's the traiiiiiin ...enjoy :)
