I played Super meat boy, world of goo, lego harry potter 1-4/5-7, limbo, a virus named tom, babel rising, shank, trine 1, worms blast, all worked so far. Didnt face any problem yet.

Does Windows 8 make your games run better/smoother because it's more efficient or something? Or is it the same?

apart from certain games which require punkbuster to play online you should be fine. punkbuster does not currently work for most people although if you get lucky it will.

I would say yes and no. Yes because its just windows 7 with few improvements (and retarded Metro UI), so all games should work just fine. No because Ati and Nvidia gives a shit about old graphic cards and no drivers for Win8 for them (for example radeon hd 4850). Also no because Microshit is a bitch and makes life for developers a hell.

When it goes to safe way of changing Win7 to Win8 there is none sadly you will have to reinstall every game. So be sure to backup all savegame states before with http://www.gamesave-manager.com/ or similar app. In other way the upgrade or how other name it migration option is a scam it never worked before and will never work when it comes to Windows.

I've been using Windows 8 for months and every single game that works on Windows 7 also works on Windows 8. The biggest difference is that Win8 is slightly less of a resource hog, but you won't really notice that in your gaming performance.
