Great post. I only disagree with beginning of your post. I write "True Serbian Heavy Metal" because unfortunately in Serbia most popular genre is turbo-folk, ad I just kidding. Also I don't like expressions "true" or "non true metal" because I think that in metal community some very good or at least talented bands are classified "non true metal" if they have only little mainstream popularity, and some very bad bands are classified true metal only if they are old school black or death metal bands, but I play guitar better then them (and I think I am bad guitar player). My favorite music is metal, favorite bands are old Metallica, Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian, Testament and Annihilator for example, my best friends are also metal fans, I like to hang out with metalheads but when I read on Youtube how metal fans arguing is some song melodic death metal or metalcore, scremo or emo,... is some band sell out with this or that album, is some band is posers,... it's make me sick, I become angry more then on Justin Bieber fans. I listen to good music it's not important what genre music is it if it's quality music. All subgenres of Heavy Metal (Old School HM, NWBHM, Power Metal, Glam metal, Trash Metal, Dead Metal, Black Metal, Metalcore,... even Nu Metal) for me is just Heavy Metal or simple Metal, and there is good and bad bands in all that subgenres.

Pero Defformero are great metal band, their guitarist and music is very good, yes they are mocking but they are doing that in quality way. They are not mainstream popular in Serbia, their videos are not on either Serbian television. All their fans are real metal fans. I know it's difficult to listen because of singing, it's even sometimes difficult for me because I hate Turbo-folk (that shit brought to my country more disaster than all wars that unfortunately happened in this area in previous years) but this is excellent metal music and guitar playing.

There's are and was great metal, hard rock and rock bands in Serbia, but unfortunately most people listen Turbo-folk or MTV popular pop and dance shit now . Former Yugoslavia discography until 90s was the second largest in Europe, only British was larger and rock was favorite music then. But then came wars because of greedy politicians on all side, Turbo-folk was invented in Serbia to make people stupid for going to be killed in war.
