Nope... if you read the answer of Ekaros... you "only" have 63.4% chance to win something with 100 of this GA (1 - 0.99^100)

Yes, entering 30 something 0 level gibs and winning is pretty much impossible. Try to level up and enter like a thousand, maybe your luck will change

Like others have said, basic math;
If a game has 10 users who enter to win it, then you as a single one of those users have a 1-in-10 (10%) chance to win.
If a game has 100 users who enter to win it, then you as a single one of those users have a 1-in-100 (1%) chance to win.
If a game has 1000 users who enter to win it, then you as a single one of those users have a 1-in-1000 (0.1%) chance to win.
etc.
Now to answer your question; Give away games to increase your level, then you'll be able to enter giveaways with fewer participants thus increasing your chances of winning.

Also, you can easily check out profile of users who comment here and see the odds of winning.
I have won 56 games, but out of nearly 18000 entries..
There are specific groups that can be found here in discussions that have limited user count, thus giving you bigger chance to win a game.
If you create giveaways yourself (and then send the gift to the winner) you will receive levels for specific value.. Each level higher you get, gives you access to more giveaways that are restricted to higher level users. Usually giveaways get better and have less entries with higher levels

One thing to note is that winning a random Dollar game that you never end up playing really doesn't get you anywhere. In fact it will even hurt your won:donated ratio and can hurt your chances of entering some premium giveaways later on. I had 200 wins in my first 18 months* on this site and "only" 40 last year, but these are all games that I actually want to play.

Ironically, considering I love Jigidis and I even solve them long after the GAs are over, I have entered 93 puzzle GAs in the last year and never once won. Which is totally fine by me as the GA in this case is just a bonus on top of the puzzle. Still, even with the lower odds, I guess fate thinks "you're already getting jigis out of this, you don't want a free game too, do you?"

Some people enter thousands of giveaways before they win one. Quite often the level zero giveaways, have a high number of entrants so learn to give some games away and get access to higher level to improve your chances of winning or joining groups like unlucky 7 but I know there are some requirements before you can join such groups. Best of luck to you but keep trying!

Even in the off chance of getting another "friend" to join the invite only giveaway, there's still a 50/50 chance of winning; then you need to convince the "friend" or creator to try to re-roll.
50% is 50% though.... are you a glass half full or half empty person? Personally, I might just chose another glass, or try my luck at paperclip bending instead.

Well you need 5 entries for cv for invite only meaning even with 1 person that would be bad. So best chance with cv is 20%

My stats for last year .. visit steam gifts every single day .. won 1 game in 1 year ^^ but this is because i chosed to join only giveaways for games i realy want to play .. if u join all of them (for every single game .. even a trash one) you will win 1-3 games or more per month :)

gain some levels, make some giveaway maybe through a bundle, enter lvl 2+ etc. giveaways, join groups related to steamgifts on steam and thus join giveaways available only for those groups and so on =)
at level 0, you'll simply be overpowered by bots and tons of entries that won't ever net you something unless you're really lucky, since a normal giveaway lasting for 58 minutes gets around 400-500 entries..

I usually create my giveaways for level 1 and up users. Way I look at it is, if your not giving anything back, then why should I give to you. Don't like lechers. That's what people like andzie don't get, before I won my 1st game here, I think I gave away 6 games.

With 34 giveaways level 0 entered, not impossible but you would have been extremely lucky if you did win.
You'll have to give it a little more time also leveling up would also increase your chance.
