Since it is not available in the country I currently live in, I've asked my brother who's in Spain to get me one - will go for the 1TB version as a replacement for my current 512GB LCD Deck. For me it absolutely is worth upgrading since the screen quality was the only major flaw of the original Steam Deck variants, in my opinion

Not today, but definitely in January or February. For me, the upgrades are notable enough to justify buying one, but the Steam Deck is also my only gaming venue currently (past gen consoles notwithstanding).

Changes in income. ;)
Ski season really gets underway in January.

Just ordered the 1TB model, process took me even longer than the original preorder back when it launched xD
I´m looking back at a happy 1 year and 8 month with my old Deck and forward to hopefully a few years with the OLED!

I'm perfectly happy with my 256GB LCD. I have a 256GB micro in there and I'm able to updtrade the M.2 for 1tb or even 2tb if I cared. I doubt anything will make me need another SD until whatever real upgrade comes in 3 to 5 years.
