I don't have a smartphone, is there anyway to get round the 14 day hold for when I want to sell some cards?

The best you can do now is to turn them into gems.

EDIT: Oh well, reading the responses below, I think I stand corrected.

this is the only way at this point. Send it to a friend that you are friends with at least a year on steam. He can sell them after 1 day trade hold.

I use Steam Desktop Auth since yesterday, there's still 15 day delay in trading, but it looks like there's no delay for selling have already sold 2 cards for trying
(to skip 15days trading restriction you must use it at least 7 days I think...)

pretty sure it requires an sms capable phone number to set up (since you need the code you are texted). OP probably doesn't have one.

their best bet is either borrowing a family member's that absolutely does not use steam just to set it up or ask a friend to sell cards for them.. if they don't want to get a phone.

edit: also probably don't use any free numbers you can find to use online for your own sake...

nah don't worry :P what I meant is that he points out he doesn't have smartphone, but it doesn't mean he doesn't have phone at all :P

Yeah, I suppose you're right. Some people might think mobile phone means it only works with mobile phones. I think I would have tried to set it up myself, if I wanted, if I had a cellphone, though. I think the FAQ says any sms capable phone, but I don't remember exactly..

You really just need to receive a code via SMS, nothing more, nothing less.

WinAuth or use an android emulator like Bluestacks. You'll still need to use a friend's phone however once to get the code for it.

Get Steam Desktop Authenticator. It's what I've been using for a long time now and it's great. Easy to set up and use.
Alternatives would be WinAuth or downloading android emulator and installing the Steam Authenticator on it.

You have 4 options:
Steam Desktop Authenticator is probably the best and fastest one, allowing you to have one or more accounts for steam authentication if you don't need anything more than market transactions and trading cooldowns removal.
WinAuth is the same exact thing, but also has the possibility to add 2 factor authentications from other sites and games (Battle.net, probably Humble and such).
Bluestacks 2 + Steam application is the longest and most power-hungry option, completely unadvised.
Finally, if you're into card farming, Archi's steam farm is an amazing project made by our fellow Archi (JustArchi), that allows you to idle games to farm the cards from them with multiple accounts and also includes every function of Steam Desktop Authenticator built in. A bit tricky to configure and has no GUI unless you ALSO get this one but very, very helpful.

EDIT: every single option requires and SMS phone, but not necessarily a smartphone. You just need to receive a code via sms and type that in the configs.
