Just now I have issues connecting to Steam while starting the client. It says that I don't have an Internet connection, which is obviously not the problem.
After many retries I had to start in Offline Mode... (-_-)

Client and website are doing the same thing for me. It seems to be in read only mode. You can view stuff just fine, but can't make comments, vote on stuff, buy stuff, etc.
