I always thought that leaving other people live their life freely and peacefully is the right thing to do as long as they don't force others to do things they don't want... Don't try to rule other people's life is a simple but very effective way of living in peace.
People who are upset knowing their neighbour does this or that without hurting anyone are the ones having a problem in my humble opinion.

Yeah, but it's hot news now for them. Didn't you talk about it at the time? Or at least the news channels in your country...

A paper that says you love someone always sounds kinda stupid to me. So I never cared about any kind of marriage and im not gonna start now. Also, I'm a pretty sure this is a gaming website.

A poll without accompanying content does not constitute a discussion and should not be treated as such.

It is wrong to force people to go against their morals, to marry people just because the government puts a gun to their head.

Marriage is a business of two (and ONLY two) and anyone that has his morals offended by what people do in their bedrooms can just as well give up his career and starve to death if he refuses to do his job. He WILL NOT be missed.

I meant marry as in what a clergyman performs in church. He has a set of tenets to follow and the freedom that goes with it. Government can follow its own rules set in the Constitution.

Nobody is forcing a clergyman to perform a gay marriage ceremony.

How is that even an issue? The church will never allow a gay marriage to be officiated by a priest inside its institution anyway. And the Government can't force it because it's more or less independent from it. Overtly gay people aren't even viewed as part of the congregation. They don't get officially excommunicated, because The Church alway tries to at least keep appearances, but they really are technically out. So no chance of them having the same rights that the rest of "the flock" has. So...yeah, that's about it. The gay marriage law only applies as a CIVIL right. The Church is not part of it, nor can it be, because in a truly democratic state, it never has any connection to the Government. Otherwise it would just be a shitty religious state like the Arab countries.

The Progressive government has been strong arming Christians to obey new laws that they cannot obey for years now. It is so bad a group of singing nuns were considered a hate group because they dealt with Christians.

The government provides help to all these groups to attack Christians and it only gets worse.

That's because religion and The Church propagate intolerance, despite shouting high and low that it's against it. It's nice it condemns racism and bigotry (as it should), but drawing the line at homophobia is ok to you?

Why is "thing" that you like good while "thing" that I like so bad? If stepping on the rights of others give you a high, then maybe you should reflect on your life.

I can't say I love it, as it's not something that directly influences my life (hell, I'm not even an American) and many of the founding fathers were racist ass-holes who owned slaves, so I can't say for sure they'd support, but who the fuck cares? I personally think it's a good thing. Kudos to you guys for finally giving the gay people the place in society and basic civil right that they deserve, as the full fledged citizens of the country that they are.
