Sunstone is a series following a couple of BDSM Fetish addicts (yea, you read that right!) from Stjepan Sejic, available free on his Deviantart account same story with Switch.
Witchblade is an awesome series. Highly recommended!
Artifacts is also decent and it's a Top Cow crossover series for Witchblade, Darkness, Angelus and several others
I don't know the other series though, sorry.

thx for the advice. Witchblade and the darkness are the only ones that i at least heard of. The darkness 2 was awesome storywise and a fun game alltogehter. Concerning witchblade i only have one or two old comics (just looked at my old collection) where the witchblade had a crossover with the Tombraider Comics.
Sunstone sounds quite interesting. As long its not censored considering the topic.

Sorry wrong link for Sunstone:

I would emphasize that it's a not a porn comic book, but it's borderline NSFW material.
Long story short the tier 1 is definitely worht it if you never read Witchblade before. Especially for Stjepan's old, digital paint art (not really fan of his new style he uses for Aphrodite, Sunstone and his newer books). But some of the books are available for free on the links I mentioned.

Sunstone gets fully published on deviantart without any censorship and with loads of bonus materials, arts, sneak-peeks and dropped sidestories - something ebook version does not contain, so definetelly go read it there - it's really worth it - one of the best romance comics I've ever read :>

Rising Stars is supposed to be really good, but I never read it, just kept the name in mind if I ever had a spare buck to spend on comics. Unfortunately that's all I can say about it tho! I don't have a single Top Cow published comic here. I played The Darkness, that's the closest I got.
So... Bump!

Rising Star seems to have a rating of 4.3 out of 5 on goodreads so it probably is really good. Thanks for the tip. The Darkness 2 was an awesome game story as well as gameplay too bad that the first game (which i have been told is even better) never made it onto the pc.

I played the first one on the Xbox 360 and the second one on Steam (Won it here)
The first one isn't necessarily better, but the story is definitely different. More dramatic, I would say without spoiling anything.

Speaking of which Groupees has similar comics: https://groupees.com/dynamite4
I wonder why our beloved Rachel skips these?

Considering your description i simply unpacked one cbz files.Around 2982x4585p seems to be the resolution of the jpegs, more than adequate for my 1080p monitor. I assume higher resolution of the pictures wouldnt be noticable on my monitor.
thanks for the tipp. "CdisplayEx" works fine. ive used its predecessor "Cdisplay" which had problems witch certain sizes it appears and just showed blank grey pages

Currently i am using cdisplay (the really old version) which is quite comfortable and very simple for most stuff but occasionally fails at certain file sizes. So is there an equally simple comicbook reader that has no problem with filesizes or pictureformats?
Also i wanted to ask is there a noticeable difference between those two formats (quality) ? I mainly read the comics on my Desktop PC
