Wading through this post can get a bit confusing, so here's a quick summary of the giveaways:
ENDED The Night of the Rabbit (5 copies), Level 10
ENDED Fenix Rage (5 copies), Levels 1+, 2+, 3+, 4+, and 5+ (1 copy each)
ENDED Invite-only giveaway train with: Metrocide, Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny (Revised), Pineview Drive, and Fenix Rage
ENDED Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride (5 copies), Level 2+
ENDED Particulars (2 copies), Level 2+
ENDED Particulars (3 copies), invite-only
ENDED The Night of the Rabbit (3 copies), Levels 4+, 5+ and 6+ (1 copy each)
ENDED Gimbal (5 copies), invite-only

A while ago I was steadily increasing the levels for a select few of my giveaways in order to thank those who have contributed a lot to the site. I got all the way to Level 9 before I received so little interest that I only had two entries(!) in a public giveaway. I had chosen a game with good reviews from a good company, but alas, due to the smaller number of people at that level and the fact that it had been bundled previously, there just wasn't a great deal of interest. Back then, I said that I wanted to do something special for those at Level 10, and I think (hope) I have found just the game.

Coming up is not one, not two, not even three or four, but five copies of a game with 91% positive user reviews on Steam and a Metacritic score of 75/100 as a special giveaway for the Level 10s. I hope to give away all five copies at once, so I hope that at least five Level 10 contributors enter this giveaway.

ENDED
The Night of the Rabbit (5 copies)
Level 10
Recent: Positive (30 reviews, 90% positive)
Overall: Very Positive (976 reviews, 91% positive)
Metacritic: 75/100

Lose yourself in a tale of magic and wonder, where anything is possible and where nothing is quite as it seems: join young Jerry and follow a peculiar white rabbit to the wondrous realm of Mousewood, a land where critters can speak and where mystery abounds.

It is here that Jerry’s dream of being a magician comes true, though a haunting, sinister force casts a long shadow over the forest. Someone offers the residents of Mousewood a deal of their lifetime - tickets to the greatest magic show that the world has ever seen. But the price is steep, as they'll have to stake their most precious possessions and also their lives.

As the shadows grow deeper, the residents of Mousewood have only Jerry to turn to. On an adventure full of laughter and tears, joy and fear, the young boy will face the ultimate trial, leaving behind the world he once knew, and his childhood, too, will become a thing of the past.

And, just so I don't leave anybody out, I have a special train for five copies of another game that has very positive Steam user reviews (85% positive) with a Metacritic score of 75/100. I've spread these out over a few levels to give everyone a chance! This train has ended, but a new invite-only one awaits below! This too has ended, more soon! Three Two One more giveaways below!

ENDED
Fenix Rage
Level 1+ | Level 2+ | Level 3+ | Level 4+ | Level 5+
Overall: Very Positive (118 reviews, 85% positive)
Metacritic: 75/100

Fenix’s village was decimated by a huge explosion, leaving only our hero and the mysterious Oktarus. As Fenix, track down this shadowy villain through nine worlds, defeating brutal bosses and hundreds of minions bent on your destruction.

Fenix Rage mechanics are unique yet simple – infinite jump and dash paired with instant restarts. Race through hundreds of increasingly difficult levels, with new mechanics like fire, ice and jump portals. Each level has a split-second of opportunity for passage through the hordes of unrelenting enemies; either approach the obstacles through trial and error or pause to mentally traverse the level and plan for an optimal route. Try to top the leaderboards while listening to slick retro-inspired music and dashing through fantastic environments.

ENDED I've added an invite-only giveaway train starting here.

Included:

ENDED Giving away five copies of a game with overwhelmingly positive user reviews for everyone Level 2 or above, Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride!

Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride (5 copies)
Level 2+
Recent: Very Positive (17 reviews, 82% positive)
Overall: Overwhelmingly Positive (561 reviews, 96% positive)

Enter an enchanting world of legends and magic, filled with gloomy forests, forbidden temples, and abandoned castles; a realm of dark secrets, where your destiny was written long before your birth...

Within the shadow of an ancient forest, on the bottom of a foggy valley, stands the lonely village of Ravenbrook. The folk there are cheerful and diligent, yet warily superstitious. They surround the village with countless charms to keep the evil spirits at bay, for on the other side of the forest, there lies a seemingly bottomless pit, known as the Abyss. It is the place the villagers of Ravenbrook fear most...

On this night, a young woman is returning home for her twin sister’s wedding. The sisters haven’t seen each other in years. Yet the invitation was strange, almost as if someone else wrote it, other than her twin. But still she comes, ignorant of the danger that awaits...

For just before the wedding, amidst the happiness and reverie, a stranger arrived in Ravenbrook...

As I currently only have one entry for the Level 10 giveaway, this one is public to help promote it. Help me find some more Level 10s to enter the giveaway for one of five copies of The Night of the Rabbit and I just may make a few more invite-only giveaways. ;)

ENDED Still only one entry for my Level 10 The Night of the Rabbit giveaway, so I've decided to split this giveaway into one public and one invite only. The game is Particulars (not Particula, which was given away free and is often confused), and it has Mostly Positive user reviews on Steam with a Metacritic score of 74/100.

Particulars
Level 2+ (2 copies) | Invite-only (3 copies)
Overall: Mostly Positive (60 reviews, 71% positive)
Metacritic: 74/100

Particulars is a game with a unique combination of arcade-action and puzzle gameplay, set in the mysterious world of subatomic particles.

Taking control of a single quark, you must negotiate the fundamental forces of the universe. Other particles will push and pull at you - you'll always be on the brink of losing control and being dragged towards annihilation!

Woven through the game is the story of Alison, a young physicist struggling to outrun her troubled past. Her journey through the subatomic world is drenched in memories (both good and bad), and will ultimately lead her to some powerful revelations.

Isn't the pumpkin a fruit?

depends on definition you wanna use, from botanical perspective they are fruit, from culinary perspective they are vegetable :>

This. Just like tomatoes.

If you want to get super technical, one could also note that pumpkins are a berry. ;)

and cucumber. the botanical definitions are technically correct, but the culinary definitions are far more useful really. tomatoes, cucumbers and such aren't likely to go so well with ice cream or custard as they would with some coleslaw, cheeses, lettuce, etc
interestingly many fruits will go nicely as either a pudding or in a salad though

and now I'm hungry

have a bump, sadly already have the game ;)

but don't worry about low entries, when you make public GA you don't need 5 entries to get CV, even 1 entry will make GA give full value (or 15% value in case of bundle game ;) )

Thanks! And yeah, not worried about CV so much, it's just that I'd like to strike a balance between exclusiveness and participation. When I give away games at the higher levels, ideally that sweet spot would be 30 or more entries. This gives everyone who participates a great chance, without it having been too restrictive. At lower levels, all bets are off... feed my ego by having as many people as possible enter. ;)

well - getting 30+ Entries on level 10 GA can be hard unless you are giving a new or very niche game that almost noone has. With anything that has been in bundle or on major sales - a lot of users will already have it. Others will not be intrested, others are no longer active, others may miss your GA because they don't scan SG 24/7 and so on and on ;)

It would be impossible to check all level 10s without a lot of work, but checking my steam friendlist - over 60% on it already own this game. As level 10 users most of the time own more games than average user we can assume that % of ownership among level 10s will be even higher. Let's assume 70-75%. That means that out of 140 level 10s only 35-42 miss this game. Now add unintrested ones, ones that don't join GAs at all, ones that are inactive and so on and on - it means that getting even 30 entries would be statistically impossible ;)

Very true, which is why I aimed lower here. Just hoping to get at least 5 entries to give away all 5 copies. :)

i think that will be very hard with most bundle games. many of the 10's buy lots of bundles and have lots of games already.

nevertheless, i appreciate the gesture. :)

Yeah, it's definitely looking that way. Into the final day and there's a grand total of one entry.

No matter what, I have no intention of deleting the giveaway, and I'll be happy with what entries I do get, I'm just still hoping for a few more. ;)

Random trivia - Though everyone "knows" rabbits eat carrots, that isn't true!
The neighborhood rabbits are devouring our brussel sprouts and cumcumber leaves. The carrots are untouched.

But they'll eat carrots if the delicious brussel sprouts and cumcumber leaves are not available, right? Right!?

Or is my entire life a lie... :(

The rabbits will eat your carrots too - they will eat your garden in general. If they don't, they tell all the other smaller creatures about your garden and they will finish it off! Kill 'em, kill 'em all!
