aw why? allergies? maybe not enough space idk. hopefully you get the opportunity one day, theres something you can take if the fur or spit ends up flaring you up and such if i remember correctly

Ah no, just the time (and money) investment. ๐ Granted, cats are much more independent than dogs (I don't mind walking a friend's dog once in a while, it's actually kinda fun; but I don't want it to be my duty if I have a dog of my own... cats are superior anyway), but you'd still have to feed it, clean the litter, etc... And if there are health issues, oh boy. Pet healthcare is nowhere near human healthcare, I certainly can't afford that. ๐
And also, yeah, I don't really have enough space in my apartment for now.

also never got a ping for this, was not ignoring you i just genuinely didnt see it. completely understand the money part lol. you'll figure it out though, make it a future goal! when things are more settled for you and you can figure out a way to either move things around your apartment or maybe get a bigger unit then you can have all the adorable pets you desire. also know exactly how you feel with the owning vs taking care of someone elses temporally part. keep me/us posted when its possible though okay? :D i'll do the same
edit: try and put some funds aside for the health care problems as well, its a must lol

wanted to take the few minutes i have left to thank a bunch of you. havent been the most active user lately but it warms my heart to know people still reach out or keep me by their side. through the little time ive spent, ive gotten to know some of the most amazing people out there who brighten my day either by the gestures theyve done for me or others or by simply existing. intended to have some giveaways or at least one for my big day and may have the chance to do a delayed one in celebration- will see!
plan on interacting more again and making threads in the future though thats on hold for the time being while i think about what i may want to do with that. i miss getting to know what yall are into or are up to. i could ramble on for ages about how this site has become a core part of me in some way, especially the discord server. it's like a home to me at this point haha
