CKII is an amazingly awesome game, but it's not for everyone. If you're not willing to put in the time and effort required get over the learning curve, then you're not going to get much out of it. Showdown effect seemed allright for what it is... It just wasn't my cup of tea.

I didn't like the Showdown Wffect. It's basically a sidescrolling multiplayer shoot'em up that seems to lack substance. That said, I'd recommend just buying the Indiegala and you can get both. If you get in on a groupbuy (there a Groupbuys group on Steam that I use), you can get the full bundle for only 1.95 (Plus fees, which raise it by like 35-40 cents). So for less than 2.50 you can try both of them, plus all the other games in the bundle. The Darkest Hour is along the same lines of CK2 and some people like that one. I haven't tried Gorky17, but just looking at the screenshots it reminds me of Commandos, which I love. I don't know if that impression is correct, though. Two Worlds II might be good too, plus it comes with the main DLC.

The Showdown Effect is a somewhat mediocre game. It's been bundled and put on sales way too many times and I don't think that'll make it any better.
If this is about the Indiegala, I'd say it is worth $5 and nothing more, but only if you don't have any of the games. Crusader Kings mite b cool, I'm not one to judge grand strategy games.
Also Hey Boss :D

I've not played Showdown effect, but Crusader Kings 2 is absolutely worth buying. I bought it on its own quite a while ago, and apart from a silly bug that makes steam not always realize when I play it, it is amazing (well really, I don't care if steam realizes if I play it or not). In fact, I rate Crusader Kings 2 as the best game of last year (together with Legend of Grimrock).

Both games are actually in a bundle for 5.39$. :)
I got it already, this are really different games and hard to compare, but both makes a lot of fun.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I got the bundle so far I am playing TSE and it's okay, it has good points and bad points. I think I will enjoy CK2 more since I am more into strategy themed games than platformers :P

As has been said already if you have the patience to learn how CK2 works, you'll probably enjoy it. I think it's a great game.
There are some solid let's plays/tutorials on youtube that certainly helped me. I found this one useful when starting out, this one too. Even the videos take a bit of patience I guess, (long vids/series of vids if you decide to watch them).

I want to know what the community thinks of those 2 games, are they worth buying or playing? From what I heard The Showdown Effect is a good game. So what are your opinions?
