Explained on site's FAQ and the games that were added to bundle list(listed above I guess) are probably the ones that decreased your level gave you access to higher level for certain time.
Why did my level decrease?
There are two reasons why a decrease could occur.
- Values are calculated based on the current USD prices of games in the Steam store. If a game lowers in price, the value of previously created giveaways will adjust accordingly, and this will be reflected on profiles and levels.
- Certain games on our site are flagged as "No Value" or "Reduced Value". This is done manually by our volunteers, and therefore there might be a delay before these values are assigned. For example, a game might be included in a bundle on January 10, 2018. If on January 13, 2018 we flag that game as "Reduced Value", with an effective date starting January 10, 2018 (the day the bundle started), then giveaways created between January 10-13, 2018 would have their value reduced accordingly.

If only there was a way from any SG page to reach the FAQ in one click...oh wait the Help button already does that :D
I wonder if combining the Guidelines & FAQ would help?

That's a very common question. Maybe the forums should have a sticky regarding this or something.

I am sure some do, it's just the ones i saw (and reported) it just get harder though at level 6, especially 7 even on legit bundled stuff.
I think a lot of free games (over 500) have to be retroactively added to the list but it would take a lot of work for staff, i even offered to help but still waiting.

Happened to me today too. it seems that the cv is reduced retroactively(?) when the price of a game falls. I reached level4 a few times and every time it falls I have to do a new giveaway to reach it again, very unfair and annoying!!! I am doing a moon hunters giveaway now to reach level 4 again. That's one reason (the other is that the site doesn't do anything for bots) a lot of people including me stopped doing giveaways.

Oh cmon! its not that unfair! I get you, it hurts, but there are worst things...I think. Do you have any other way for the CV to work?
I just expect every time i do some HB giveaways or free games, that my CV drops someday. I cant think of any other way for the site to be fair to everyone.
But then again its an opinion and you are entitled to yours :)
unfair is the fact that i will probably get blacklisted by 3 or 4 people, for no reason just because they don't like what i just wrote :)

if your levels dropped its because your becoming a man, next you will start liking video games in a different way and notice blackilst showing up in weird places. its all a natural part of being an SG member.

I'm a little confused and was wondering where to get clarity, I was level 4 in December but on logging in today have discovered I have dropped back down to 3 just wondering in what circumstances that would happen and how to avoid similar situations?
