Right, thanks guys. Downloaded and will now figure out this crap.
Then, I only need to figure out working gamepad controls and deal with the old leveling system. I really wish Skywind was complete.

Once you downloaded it, put all .esm mods first(above), then .esp mods.
That can screw up the game otherwise.

Yeah, I'm aware. The game wouldn't let me put the official ESPs above the ESM for Morrowind anyway. :P

But quick travel and quest pointers. D:
Mostly quick travel. Loot a cave, quick travel home to empty the inventory, quick travel back, move to the next cave.
Also, while Oblivion has poor support for the 360 pad, forcing me to use JoyToKey to fill the spaces, it is much better than what Morrowind has for pad support.

Ah, fair enough. I admit I used quick travel way too much in Oblivion. I stopped using it for a while and discovered so many things.
Really? Meh, always used keyboard and mouse. Enjoy though. I need to play more Morrowind... I loved watching my brother play it when we were younger.

My lift hand is kind of messed up. While I can handle using a gamepad since it uses my thumb and index finger only, a keyboard for gaming (and even typing, so I'm more of a pecker than 10 finger) gets to be painful. With a gamepad, more actions are mapped to the right.

Google is for peons. LMGTFY is for even lesser peons.
Besides, this started a chat with Khalaq about mods over Steam. When has Google ever done that for someone?

Pppft, human interaction is for losers. Who needs it when we've got the power of Google?

I'm currently playing Skyrim with many mods, and I've found the Nexus Mod Manager to be extremely helpful for manually tweaking the load order. It's compatible with Oblivion and the Fallout games too.
BOSS is another program (fully compatible with Oblivion) that is quick and easy to use for highlighting any conflicting mods/outdated mods AND it gives you a recommended load order based on what mods are currently installed.

Nexus Mod Manager works perfectly fine with Oblivion, just as you said. I second the recommendation.
I haven't used BOSS, so I can't say anything about it.

Since Morrowind is dated as **** and lacking some of the features I liked in the later TES games and Fallout 3 / NV like fast travel, I'm trying to figure out the Morroblivion mod. Seems I now have everything installed, but all the mods show up in the wrong order in the Data section of the launcher. Anyone willing to help me figure out how to reorder everything?
