I thing it's a nice idea to let ppl pay if they want. Some people around here are rich enough and propably wouldn't mind donating some $$ :D I would eventually donate as well

When Steam Gifts removes the ads (I know there is only a small one) and there will be no donate-only giveaways it would be an ok idea. But I also think that cg would already added that when he needs (and wants) the money.

He could give donators some small perks and perhaps mark their accounts with a donator thingy.

Hell, go crazy, make donator tiers and everything. Not like there won't be groups and such eventually XD
