he said he wants to delete the giveaway then. i said thats against the rules
No it's not. Although of course the winner doesn't have to accept, I'd say it's common courtesy to agree to GA deletion if the GA creator wasn't obviously trolling.

The gifter should have stated that the key might not work and that winner should accept deletion in that case.
That said, the winner is not obligated to accept deletion even if stated and can mark not received along with a report to the mods.

wow this is ridiculous. why am i still on this site? so theoretically everyone can just giveaway their dupe keys to troll ppl without breaking the rules? also how is that not against the rule, if u say he needs my consent, tbh he doesnt have it. this is not some portal to dump dupe keys in hope to reach level 1 for free games

i mean i checked the account its a fresh acc with 0 wins 0 giveaways so i think its a troll, but hey ppl act like i need that silly random key i won here. im just surprised that this behavior is not considered against the rules. basically i could giveaway my dupe key of AC origins, raise the hopes of someone and then just delete the dupe GA, because who can really proof that it was intentional?

man i would never disagree to such thing, all that happened is me telling him the key is dupe and telling him that i think it was against the rules to delete the GA just like that. (which i thought) now i see he blocked all communications with me i was just wondering what I did wrong here

Inside those links is stated what you can do.

Well, you can don't agree on deletion, that's your right.
And he can blacklist you for any reason, and even without one.
So, I don't see - what is the problem?

Dude, can I give you a advice? With this attitude you can end up in shitload of blacklists, and from the much more generous people than the one that blacklisted you for not agreeing to delete giveaway. So my advice is - close and/or delete this topic, report the giveaway creator if you believe he internationally gave away duped key, and leave it be.

Hey, calm down. I did nothing wrong to you, don't get angry on me. And I didn't meant that I would blacklist you - I cleared my blacklist long ago, all I wanted is to give you friendly advice. And of course you don't have to follow it if you believe it's bad.

You can delete your own giveaway only if it hasn't ended.
Since the one you're mentioning has ended, only support can delete / modify it.

I once adviced someone that giving away a different game than the selected ga game, was not allowed by the rules and he blacklisted me. I then saw that he made like 4 ga's in the last year, so I was "oh, ok. I'm not missing anything then", I blacklisted him too and life goes on perfectly fine.

While the giveaway creator is held responsible for the giveaway and key/gift being provided, it isn't exactly "against the rules" to request a giveaway's deletion, although the giveaway winner does not have any obligation whatsoever to accept that the giveaway be deleted.
To the giveaway winner, it's a punch to the face if you refuse for the giveaway to be deleted, as they'll receive a -1 to their profile.
While I respect your decision to refuse the creator's request, I feel it's a bit petty to be angry about being blacklisted over it. They are obviously dissatisfied with the result of their giveaway, even though - and I repeat once again - this entire situation is their own fault as they are the person responsible for providing a valid game key.
In other words - it sucks that the creator could not provide a working key, but if you refuse to delete the giveaway, I'm not surprised they are pissed off at you.

i mean it was a fucking 20 cents key, i happened to have dupes too, i always replaced them. not a single one i didnt deliver. i thought thats how it goes here. next time i will save my money too knowing that i can just delete the giveaway just like that

We have no confirmation that he really send u duplicated key
We have no confirmation u use that key on your alt/give it for your friend and ask him for new one
SG is full of people who regift a key/humble link then mark as not received or ask for new one
We can't blame giveaway creator/winner for anything
It's just up to you.
If you accept giveaway deletion-he doesn't get anything. So maybe that's the point of this 'feature', sometimes shi* happens.
You're not losing anything, he knows that key was reedemed(by you ar anyone, maybe even by himself) and not gonna use it again.
I was on that point, when someone ask me for deleting gib, cause key was redeemed. I accept, cause it's only game.
My grammar sucks, i know, my english is nein gut:D
