Another noob question

I've been thinking to giving away some games. I saw on GG that awesomenauts is on sale. I want to buy the 3 pack to give away. I already have the game myself. If I buy it for myself, will all 3 copies go to my inventory? If I 'gift this game' what will happen?

I have never bought any game outside of Steam

Be patient with me, I'm still a noob :p

You will get the codes that once you activate them it will go directly to your game library, not inventory.
If you already have the game in your library it will display as "Product already owned".

You will get three keys or possibly only one key which when activated will give you two copies in your inventory, depends on what the game is.

If it's a 3 pack you get 3 individual keys. You can't buy game for your inventory outside of Steam.

i suggest wait for the winter sale.
when the winter sale comes the game will cost 3.74$ on steam and the four pack something like 7.49$.
so my suggestion is wait for the winter sale and get it cheaper and tradeable instead of poor keys.
