Today's daily deals is pretty weak. I was thinking about State of Decay as well, it's the only game that caught my eye.

A friend owns this game on a console. He said it is really worth it with both DLCs. Buying it.

definately worth it!
Game is totally recommended, don't care about the visuals.
But I recommend getting the DLC's along with it, because the main game can be get boring after a while and after you beat it at least once.
Breakdown adds sandbox mode for infinite gameplay and Lifeline adds another storyline in a different map (big city instead of little town) and many new features. (like new weapons, new cars, every now and then waves of zombies which try to break into your base etc.)

I've bought it from the GMG Summer Sale and just finished it today... I was actually enjoying it very much.
Regarding your questions: The controls were fine for me as I'm using a Xbox gamepad, but I've read in a forum that there are some issues for the fighting combos with KBM. Your objectives are for the most time just scavenging food and building materials, while traveling some distances... the zombies are there to harass you while doing this. I would definitely recommend it though

I got it on GMG sale and only today got around to playing it(Yesterday had an exam so I put it on download afterwards). The game is extremely fun, I heard a lot of complains about bugs but didn't notice much except maybe seeing zombie heads go through walls if they fall or shooting through a boarded window appears to hit the boards while you shoot in between.
Edit: What does bother me is the fact that after using 1 character for a while he becomes fatigued and his max stamina lowers which forces you to search for max stamina medications or pay influence to get it restored.

Another yay from me. Haven't played the DLC yet, though.

Are any of you guys looking to give the game away on here? I really wanted to buy it but haven't stocked enough money into my account and Steam won't accept my credit card.

Hello there everyone!
I really want to buy State of Decay but since it was a port and i'm not into zombie games; wanted to hear your opinions about the game:
1- Is there any problems about optimization and controls?
2- I'm not kind of "hunt hundreds of zombies without an objective" type of gamer. I liked Dead Rising 2 so far. Do you recommend me this game?
Thank you again, for your kind responses.
